ABSTRACT The practice of cloning journalism has become interesting phenomenon in the world of journalism. Cloning journalism is an activity of journalist who exchange news sources in producing news. News sources referred to in the form of recorded interviews, reporters interview notes and news, so that is sent between journalists. Cloning journalism is very close to plagiarism or plagiarism of a work. Where this practice is done among fellow journalists by copying or taking information to draw up a work of journalism and disseminated through the mass media. Exchange of news sources that do journalists from various media to make public the information presented to be homogeneous. Cloning journalism contrary to the Code of Ethics of Journalism in particular concerning the prohibition of plagiarism. However, the practice of cloning news continues to grow and become a kind of culture that is often done by lazy journalists. Cloning news regarded as a natural thing and experiencing the omission of both the media companies and professional organizations of journalists.
