ABSCTRACT Asset management area is one of the important elements that form the basis for assessing the financial performance of Local Government so we need a system of management of the neat and orderly administration and meet the regulations and must be implemented in a transparent and accountable. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Regional Goods Management Training program (Diklat Pengelolaan Barang Daerah) in 2013 in the city of Cirebon, as well as the factors that influence the effectiveness of training programs. The method applied in this research is descriptive qualitative, primary data obtained through observation and interviews. Secondary data was obtained through literature study and documentation. Sample research is participant Goods Management Regional Training (Diklat Pengelolaan Barang Daerah) in 2013 Results of research conducted, the training to be effective where the Regional Goods Management Training has provided benefits to the self-training participants and training participants work unit, from the aspect koginitif influence on the development of insight and knowledge of training participants, psychomotor aspects or skills enhancement effect on the development of skills of participants training, and aspects of the affective or attitude changes influence the development of attitudes, discipline, and conduct training participants with supporting factors that influence it, namely 1. curriculum, 2. lecturer, 3. Methods of Learning, and 4. Facilities and Infrastructure. And need continuous training so that the competence of employees is growing, thus increasing organizational performance.
