ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to explain about the reasons why ASEAN countries to cooperate in combating cybercrime in Southeast Asia and to see how success the cooperation. This study found that the ASEAN countries to cooperate are due to the threats posed by cybercrime in the political, economic, and security of the region. In addition, this study also found that based on statistics, from the year 2004-2011 ASEAN has not been able to combat the growing amount of cybercrime cases in Southeast Asia.
