Abstract Competition in the oil and gas industry today cannot be avoided since this sector is considered as the most important asset for every country. Each company competes to reach the global market in order to encourage the growth of national economy. To be able to penetrate global competition, Pertamina at least should be able to compete in the region level first, before confronting national oil and gas company Petronas, which is currently a giant oil and gas company in Southeast Asia.
