ABSTRACTS Relationship of Parents-Adolescent Interpersonal Communication against adolescent sexual attitudes of pre marriage. (Survey in SMA 11 Yogyakarta) The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of parent-adolescent interpersonal communication on adolescent attitudes toward sexual relations before marriage. The study is expected to be an input for parents to apply the parent-adolescent interpersonal communication effectively, as an input to the school in order to have a system to implement adolescent health counseling in schools, and providing counseling for students and parents, as well as input and information to young people, especially teenagers in high school in order to have knowledge of and attitudes towards pre-marital sexual relations, so as to prevent pre-marital sexual relations. The population in this study are all students of SMAN 11 Yogyakarta. Samples taken in this study were 100 students using quota sampling. Research analysis is the multiple regression models. Coefficient of Correlation (R) is 0.574. Coefficient of correlation shows the simultaneous relationship between independent variables and dependent variables which explained by lelevel 57.4%. Adjusted R Square (R2) is 0,329. Adjusted R Square (R2) shows 3.2% of variation in the variables change adolescent attitudes toward premarital sexual relations due to the variation in the variables change parent-adolescent communication and remains explained by the other variabel. The analysis shows that there are only three aspects of interpersonal communication that significantly affect adolescent attitudes toward sexual relations before marriage, the support, positive attitude, and empathy.
