ABSTRACT The development of science and technology and internet penetration can facilitate the flow of information and access to tourism marketing organization. Tourism marketing online provides ease of information access and services for tourism industry consumers. E-tourism presents a complete tourism information so that it can be used as a guide to plan a trip and facilitate the tourists to get the tourism information such as tourist destinations, hotel / lodging, attractions, dining, car rental, tour operators, etc. Characteristic of e-tourism specifically is ‘low budget high impact’ can be used to promote tourism products and services. E-tourism is a tourism marketing communication tool in DIY that can be used by government and private. Website which has an informative and comprehensive content can be a medium of information and tourism marketing as well as attract the visitor to visit. The information presented must be objective, accurate, and interactive. Moreover the website has a speed of loading and good navigation so that it can attract visitors. E-tourism content portal in DIY province viewed from two tourism websites Visitingjogja.com and YogYES.COM has been providing a complete tourism information. Both of them provides the portal feature that have relatively complete information on tourism. However, they still less interactivity and responsivity so there are no two-way communication and feedback information. Visitingjogja.com make his function in image building because it is a government portal which has its role in public service. YogYES.COM help tourism marketing products and services as it provides catalog called sales assistance.
