ABSTRACT Education through the school comes as the knowledge reduction process by learning process for people. It needs to create an innovation or approach in learning process according to the learning theory to design the delight and attractive learning environment. This innovation will get challenge to develop the education related to the learning environment that able to give more space and good learning process until all students can more enthusiastic, fun, and success to develop their potency. As a school institution, SD Sendangsari catches the discomfort indication inside the learning process. Finally, by utilize the natural potency, the school starts to use the environment with all potencies to be the learning objects, implements the local wisdom as part of the local resources in Desa Sendangsari, guides the students to be creative inside the learning process towards the learning method based on local resources. The continuity of the innovation in learning model based on local resources in SD Sendangsari will be analyzed in this research as substantive study. Using qualitative research method, the data collection method is using the non-participant observation, in-depth interview, and documentation. The informants are the students, teachers, and workers; department of education, the society, and related parties in school education process. To analyze the data is using interactive model of analysis that consist of data reduction, data presentation, and deduction. The study shows that the discomfort indication inside the learning process is the background to create the learning model innovation based on the local resources which can be integrated to the learning process. The concept about the innovation is (1) the integration between learning material and the element of local resource, (2) local food processing as the learning media, (3) traditional games as the learning instruments, (4) “integrated extracurricular activities” (kegiatan ekstrakurikuler terpadu) as learning activity, and (5) public participation to the learning activity. While the implementation process i.e. (1) learning process, (2) internal relation between teacher, students, and the learning method, (3) external relation between environment, parents, and society toward the Paguyuban Kearifan Lokal, Pendampingan Organisasi Sosial, and private sector as the network improvement. Facilities, school infrastructure and environment are inseparable supporting system within this process. The potential continuity contains (1) teachers’ creativity, (2) support from parents and public, and (3) support from government. The obstacles of this continuity are (1) teachers’ professionalism, (2) the dependence to the innovator, (3) the regeneration, and (4) external limited support.
