PERBEDAAN SATURASI OKSIGEN (SpO2), FREKUENSI NAPAS, DAN PULSUS BABI YANG DIANESTESI KETAMIN DICAMPUR XYLASIN DAN KETAMIN DICAMPUR PROPOFOL

2017 | Skripsi | S1 KEDOKTERAN HEWANPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perbedaan anestesi dengan menggunakan campuran ketamin-xylasin dan ketamin-propofol terhadap Saturasi Oksigen (SpO2), frekuensi napas, dan pulsus babi. Penelitian dilakukan di Departemen Bedah dan Radiologi Fakultas Kedokteran Hewan Universitas Gadjah Mada. Penelitian ini menggunakan sepuluh ekor babi betina dalam kondisi sehat umur dua bulan dan berat badan rata-rata delapan kilogram. Babi dibagi menjadi dua kelompok yaitu kelompok A yang dianestesi campuran ketamin-xylasin dan kelompok B yang dianestesi campuran ketamin-propofol. Atropin sulfat dengan dosis 0,04 mg/kg berat badan diinjeksi secara intramuscular sebagai premedikasi pada babi kelompok A dan babi kelompok B. Babi kelompok A diinjeksi ketamin dengan dosis 10 mg/kg berat badan dicampur xylasin dengan dosis 2 mg/kg berat badan dan babi kelompok B diinjeksi ketamin dengan dosis 10 mg/kg berat badan dicampur propofol 5 mg/kg berat badan setelah 15 menit injeksi atropin sulfat. Pengamatan terhadap Saturasi Oksigen (SpO2), frekuensi napas, dan pulsus dengan menggunakan Monitor Operasi NT3. Hasil analisis keadaan Saturasi Oksigen (SpO2), frekuensi napas, dan pulsus dalam keadaan normal baik babi yang dianestesi dengan ketamin-xylasin maupun babi yang dianestesi dengan ketamin-propofol. Hasil analisis statistik Saturasi Oksigen (SpO2), frekuensi napas, dan pulsus babi yang dianestesi ketamin-xylasin dan ketamin-propofol menunjukan hasil yang tidak signifikan (P=>0,05). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan anestesi campuran ketamin-xylasin dan ketamin-propofol tidak memengaruhi kadar normal Saturasi Oksigen (SpO2), frekuensi napas, dan pulsus sehingga aman untuk digunakan.
This research aimed to determine the influence of anesthetic differences by using the mixture of ketamine-xylazine and ketamine-propofol towards Oxygen Saturation (SpO2), frequency of breathing and pig pulse. This research was conducted in the Department of Surgery and Radiology Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Gadjah Mada University. The research used ten female pigs in healthy conditions at two months of age and an average weight of eight kilograms. The pigs are divided into two groups, which are group A being anesthetized by the mixture of ketamine-xylazine and group B being anesthetized by the mixture of ketamine-propofol. Atropine sulfate with a dosage of 0.04 mg/kg body weight is injected intramuscularly as premedication, after 15 minutes, group A pigs were injected ketamine with a dose of 10 mg/kg body weight mixed in xylazine with a dosage of 2 mg/kg body weight. Group B pigs were injected with ketamine at a dosage of 10 mg/kg body weight mixed with propofol of 5 mg/kg body weight. The observation to Oxygen Saturation (SpO2), frequency of breathing and pulse used NT3 Operation Monitor. The analysis results of the situation of Oxygen Saturation (SpO2), frequency of breathing and pulse in normal condition either for pigs anesthetized by ketamine-xylazine or pigs anesthetized ketamine-propofol. The statistical analysis result of Oxygen Saturation (SpO2), frequency of breathing and pulse of pigs anesthetized ketamine-xylazine and ketamine-propofol showed insignificant result (P=>0,05). Based on the research result, it can be concluded that the use of anesthesia with the mixture of ketamine-xylazine and ketamine-propofol does not influence the normal level of Oxygen Saturation (SpO2), frequency of breathing and pulse so they are safe to be used.
