KEBERDAYAAN WARGA PERBATASAN KULON PROGO-PURWOREJO BERBASIS EKONOMI PRIMER DAN JARINGAN LINTAS TERITORI (Studi Kasus: Desa Pagerharjo dan Desa Sedayu)

Desa Pagerharjo merupakan salah satu desa yang berada di Kabupaten Kulon Progo, sedangkan Desa Sedayu merupakan desa yang berada di Kabupaten Purworejo. Desa Pagerharjo dan Desa Sedayu dipilih sebagai fokus penelitian karena dua desa ini selain berbatasan langsung, juga dilewati oleh jalan utama yang menghubungkan dua kabupaten sehingga aktifitas yang terjadi di dua desa ini sangatlah tinggi, selain itu terjadi pula perbedaan kondisi infrastruktur di dua desa yang sangat kontras. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini yaitu menemukan teori lokal tentang hubungan ruang dan manusia di wilayah perbatasan Kulon Progo-Purworejo dalam konteks perbedaan perkembangan kedua desa di wilayah tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Setelah melalui proses analisis dan perumusan dari temuan unit-unit informasi yang ada di lapangan hingga menjadi sebuah tema dan konsep, peneliti dapat menarik sebuah garis besar yang bisa disebut juga sebuah teori yakni keberdayaan warga perbatasan Kulon Progo-Purworejo berbasis ekonomi primer dan jaringan lintas teritori.

Pagerharjo Village is one of the villages located in Kulon Progo Regency, while Sedayu Village is a village located in Purworejo District. The villages of Pagerharjo and Sedayu were chosen as the focus of the study because these two villages are in addition to the direct border, which is also passed by the main road connecting the two districts so that the activities in these two villages are very high. In addition, there are differences in infrastructure conditions in two highly contrasting villages. The objective of this research is to find local theory about spatial and human relationship in Kulon Progo-Purworejo border area in the context of different development of the two villages in the region. The method used in this research is qualitative method with phenomenology approach. After going through the process of analysis and formulation of the findings of units of information that exist in the field to become a theme and concept, the researcher can draw an outline that can be called also a theory that the resilience of citizens border of Kulon Progo-Purworejo based on primary economy and cross-territory network.
