FAKTOR PENYEBAB PENUNDAAN PENCABUTAN GIGI DI KLINIK BEDAH MULUT RSGM UGM PROF. SOEDOMO YOGYAKARTA (JANUARI-DESEMBER 2016)

2017 | Skripsi | S1 HIGIENE GIGIPencabutan gigi merupakan salah satu tindakan dalam perawatan gigi dan mulut pada masyarakat. Kondisi umum pasien yang kurang baik dapat meningkatkan kemungkinan terjadinya komplikasi serius setelah pencabutan dilakukan, maka penundaan pencabutan gigi dilakukan untuk menghindari komplikasi pencabutan gigi yang sifatnya fatal. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif retrospektif dengan desain studi transversal. Data yang diperoleh berasal dari catatan rekam medis pasien yang mengalami penundaan pencabutan di klinik Bedah Mulut RSGM UGM Prof. Soedomo Yogyakarta pada bulan Januari-Desember 2016. Kriteria inklusi usia lebih dari 18 tahun dengan rekam medis lengkap, tindakan pencabutan dilakukan oleh Residen bedah mulut atau Koas, tindakan pencabutan gigi yang dilakukan pada rentang waktu Januari-Desember 2016. Alasan penundaan pencabutan subjek kemudian dicatat dari catatan rekam medis subjek dan data yang diperoleh dimasukkan ke dalam tabel. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan menemukan dari 3.605 kasus pencabutan gigi di tahun 2016, terdapat 132 kasus penundaan pencabutan yang terdiri dari 108 pasien dengan operator residen dan 24 pasien dengan operator koas. Penundaan pencabutan lebih banyak ditemukan pada pasien perempuan sebanyak 84 kasus dibandingkan laki-laki sebanyak 48 kasus dan kasus terbesar ditemukan pada pasien dengan rentang usia 18-24 tahun. Tiga faktor penyebab terbesar penundaan pencabutan gigi adalah karena adanya inflamasi akut 65 (49,1%), hipertensi 46 kasus (34,8%), dan diabetes melitus 9 kasus (6,8%).
Dental extraction is one of many treatments in the dental treatment. Patient with a poor current health condition can increase the possibility of the serious complication, then dental extraction will be delayed to avoid the fatality complication of the dental extraction. This research was a descriptive retrospective research with transversal study design. The data obtained from medical record of patients who have a delayed dental extraction at the clinic of oral surgery RSGM UGM Prof. Soedomo Yogyakarta from January to December 2016. Inclusive criteria of this research were more than 18 years age with complete medical records, dental extraction conducted by Resident or Coass which conducted from January to December 2016. All the reasons of the delayed dental extraction of the patient then noted from patient medical record and the obtained data inserted into the table. The results of this research showed that 3.605 cases of dental extraction in 2016, there were 132 cases of delayed dental extraction consisted of 108 patients who handled by resident and 24 patients who handled by coass. The delayed dental extraction found mostly in female patients with 84 cases compared with male patients 48 cases and the biggest case found among patient 18-24 years old. three highest common factors of the delayed dental extraction are caused by 65 cases (49,1%) of acute inflammation, 46 cases (34,8%) of hypertension, and 9 cases (6,8%) of diabetes mellitus.
