Mobile sugarcane core sampler adalah suatu alat berat sektor perkebunan yang berfungsi untuk mengambil sampel tebu dalam menentukan nilai rendemen individu gula yang ada dalam tebu. Mobile sugarcane core sampler merupakan produk buatan PT United Tractors Pandu Engineering yang dipesan oleh pabrik gula untuk mengatasi masalah tentang penentuan nilai rendemen gula individu yang terjadi di pabrik gula. Dalam pengoperasiannya Mobile sugarcane core sampler memiliki komponen yang utama sebagai pengambil contoh tebu yaitu probe assambly dimana komponen ini yang nantinya berperan penting dalam pengambilan sampel tebu sehingga perlu dilakukan perancangan dan perhitungan pada pemilihan komponen yang akan digunakan, yaitu probe tube, motor hidrolik, blade, chain and sprocket, silinder hidrolik, bearing. Dari hasil perhitungan didapatkan spesifikasi komponen-komponen Probe assambly yang akan digunakan yaitu probe tube menggunakan material stainless steel dengan diameter 8 in schedule 80, Bantalan rol kerucut baris tunggal tipe 32048 X, motor hidrolik tipe 25 M, rantai jenis RS 50 duplex, silinder hidrolik double acting, pisau pemotong tipe bendsaw, struktur probe assambly menggunakan material baja ringan grade 250.

Mobile sugarcane core sampler is a plantation equipment sector. it collect sugar cane samples for determining of individual rendemen in sugarcane. Mobile sugarcane core sampler is a product made by PT United Tractors Pandu Engineering. It was ordered by sugar mills to solve the problem of individual sugar rendement determining. Mobile sugarcane core sampler has a main component. it is probe assambly. This component will play an important role in sampling cane therefore it was design and calculation on the components selection, namely tube probe, hydraulic motor, blade, Chain and sprocket, hydraulic cylinder, and bearings. the specification of the components of the probe assambly used is probe tube using stainless steel material with diameter 8“ schedule 80, single tappered roller bearing type 32048 X, hydraulic motor type 25 M, chain type RS 50 duplex, cylinder hydraulic double acting, blades type bendsaw, and probe assambly structure using mild steel grade 250 material.
