PEMANFAATAN AIR KONDENSASI DI EJECTOR CONDENSOR SEBAGAI AIR PENAMBAH DISTILAT PADA DESALINATION PLANT

Ejector condensor pada desalination plant berfungsi untuk mengkondensasi uap setelah digunakan mengaktifkan ejector. Pada desalination plant PLTGU Priok Blok 1-2, proses kondensasi ini dilakukan dengan bantuan air laut yang dipompakan oleh desalination sea water pump (DSWP) untuk suplai desalination plant. Pada kasus ini, penulis mengamati bahwa air hasil kondensasi pada ejector condensor hanya didrain menuju saluran pembuangan. Sedangkan karakter dari air kondensasi ini masih bagus untuk dimanfaatkan. Air hasil kondensasi ejector condensor ini memiliki nilai konduktivitas berkisar 19 mikrosiemens tiap sentimeter dan memiliki pH 6,8. Dengan karakter tersebut, air kondensasi ini masih bisa dimanfaatkan sebagai penambah air distilat menuju ke service water tank (SWT). Dengan memanfaatkan air hasil kondensasi pada ejector condensor akan menambah jumlah air distilat yang menuju SWT sebanyak 0,00969 meter kubik tiap detik. Dengan memanfaatkan air hasil kondensasi pada ejector condensor ini dapat menambah produksi air servis dan mengurangi frekuensi pembelian air servis dari unit lain.

Ejector condensor in desalination plant is use to condense steam from ejector. In desalination plant PLTGU Blok 1-2, condensation proses is carried out with help of seawater that is pumped by desalination sea water pump for supply of desalination plant. In this case, the author observe the water which is result of condensation process in ejector condensor is just drain. Even though, this water is have a good quality to reuse. This water have conductivity number about 19 microsiemens per centimeter and pH number is about 6,8. With that quality, this water is can be use to increase the production of distillate water as the product of desalination plant. With the reuse of this water will increase the amount of distillate water production as much 0,00969 meter kubik per second . The author hope with this reuse of the water can increas the production of distillate water and decrease the frequency the buying of distillate water from th other unit.
