EVALUASI JENIS POHON BERDASARKAN TINJAUAN KESESUAIAN FUNGSI, MODEL ARSITEKTUR, DAN FILOSOFINYA DI KAWASAN MUSEUM ULLEN SENTALU YOGYAKARTA

Museum Ullen Sentalu merupakan salah satu kawasan wisata budaya di Yogyakarta. Museum ini digunakan sebagai tempat wisata edukasi sejarah, seni, dan budaya Jawa. Salah satu aspek yang menjadi daya tarik wisatawan di Museum Ullen Sentalu adalah ruang terbuka hijau (RTH) yang mencitrakan potensi alam pegunungan yang sejuk, rimbun, dan menenangkan. Dalam perencanaan RTH agar memperhatikan pemilihan jenis-jenis pohon yang sesuai sehingga fungsinya dapat tercapai. Kawasan RTH di museum tersebut perlu dievaluasi terkait jenis pohon berdasarkan fungsi, model arsitektur, dan filosofinya sebagai upaya pengembangan dan optimalisasi kawasan RTH tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis pohon yang berada di kawasan Museum Ullen Sentalu Yogyakarta beserta model arsitektur dan filosofinya. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Pengambilan data diperoleh dengan cara inventarisasi, identifikasi jenis pohon, dan wawancara. Kawasan penelitian dibagi menjadi 7 zona atau area. Hasil inventarisasi pohon mendapatkan 15 jenis pohon dengan 10 famili dan 7 model arsitektur. Model arsitektur yang paling banyak dijumpai adalah Troll dan Rauh. Adapun model arsitektur yang lainnya yaitu Roux, Aubreville, Attim, Scarrone, dan McClure. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, maka usulan rancangan ruang terbuka hijau pada kawasan ini adalah dengan penambahan jumlah jenis pohon yang telah ada.

Ullen Sentalu Museum is one of the cultural tourism object in Yogyakarta. This museum is a tourism place of Javanese history, art, and culture education. Ullen Sentalu Museum not only provides information on historic collections, but also has a green open space that represents the cool, leafy, and calming natural potential of the mountains as the tourist attraction. Selection of tree species need to consider so that its function can be achieved. The aims of this study is to determine the tree species in the Ullen Sentalu Museum along with architectural model and its philosophy. In addition, this research is expected to be used as a recommendation material of green open space arrangement in the museum area. The research used descriptive qualitative method. The data were collected by inventory in 7 zones or areas of tree species, identification, and interview. Ullen Sentalu Museum has 15 trees with 10 families, and 7 architectural models. The most common architectural model is Troll and Rauh architecture models. The other architectural models are Roux, Aubreville, Attim, Scarrone, and McClure. The proposed of green open space design in this area is by increasing a number of new tree species.
