GAMBARAN LEKOSIT PADA KUCING PENDERITA FELINE PANLEUKOPENIA BERDASAR PERBEDAAN UMUR

Feline panleukopenia adalah penyakit infeksius pada kucing yang disebabkan oleh Feline panleukopenia virus ditandai dengan keradangan saluran pencernaan dan terjadinya penurunan jumlah total lekosit. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran lekosit kucing penderita Feline panleukopenia pada umur kurang dari atau sama dengan 6 bulan dan umur lebih dari 6 bulan sampai 12 bulan. Penelitian ini menggunakan 25 ekor pasien kucing penderita Feline panleukopenia di Klinik Departemen Ilmu Penyakit Dalam FKH UGM. Kucing dikelompokkan berdasar umur, yaitu kelompok kucing berumur kurang dari atau sama dengan 6 bulan (16 kucing) dan kelompok kucing berumur lebih dari 6 bulan sampai 12 bulan (9 kucing). Peneguhan diagnosa Feline panleukopenia didasarkan pemeriksaan sampel feses menggunakan metode Anigen rapid FPV Ag test kit (BioNote, Inc. Korea). Sampel darah dikoleksi 1 cc dengan dispossible spuit untuk dilakukan perhitungan total lekosit dan diferensial lekosit. Hasil pemeriksaan total lekosit diperoleh nilai rata-rata jumlah lekosit pada kucing berumur kurang dari atau sama dengan 6 bulan adalah 1.293,75 sd 1.309, 266 sel/mikroliter dan lebih dari 6 bulan sampai 12 bulan adalah 2.027,78 sd 1.586,536 sel/mikroliter. Hasil analisis statistik tidak ada perbedaan signifikan (P>0,05).

Feline panleukopenia is an infectious disease in cats caused by Feline panleukopenia virus characterized by inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract and the decrease in total number of leukocytes. The purpose of this study was to determine the representation of leukocytes in cat patients with Feline panleukopenia at age less than or equal to 6 months and more than 6 months to 12 months. This research used 25 patient of cat with Feline panleukopenia at Clinic Department of Internal Medicine FKH UGM. Cats are grouped by age, group of cats less than or equal to 6 months (16 cats) and groups of cats aged more than 6 months to 12 months (9 cats). Feline panleukopenia confirmed diagnosis based on faecal sample examination using Anigen rapid FPV Ag test kit (BioNote, Inc. Korea) method. Blood samples collected 1 cc with disposible syringe to calculate total leukocyte and differential leukocytes. The results of total leukocyte examination obtained the average value of the number of leukocytes in cats less than or equal to 6 months old is 1.293,75 sd 1.309, 266 cells/microliter and more than 6 months to 12 months is 2,027,78 sd 1.586,536 cells/microliter. The result of statistical analysis showed no significant difference (P> 0,05).
