Sistem Monitoring Tempat Sampah Berbasis Internet Of Things

Di beberapa daerah, sampah menjadi masalah serius bagi semua lapisan masyarakat, hal ini disebabkan karena jumlah sampah yang dihasilkan terus menumpuk dari hari ke hari. Penumpukan sampah yang terjadi di beberapa wilayah Indonesia menimbulkan berbau tak sedap karena banyak sampah yang mengendap. Penyebab terjadinya penumpukan sampah yaitu banyak tempat sampah yang tidak ditangani secara serius dan kurangnya tempat sampah yang berada dititik keramaian. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan sebuah teknologi untuk mengetahui apakah tempat sampah tersebut sudah penuh atau belum, Teknologi yang digunakan yaitu berbasis Internet of Things. Dimana dengan teknologi ini tidak perlu dicek secara langsung langsung pada tempat sampah namun dapat dipantau secara langsung dengan menggunakan website, sehingga dapat menghemat waktu, jarak dan lebih efisien dalam pemantauan. Untuk menggunakan Internet of Things dibutuhkan komponen seperti ESP8266 NodeMCU, serta sensor HC-SR04 untuk memantau isi dari tempat sampah tersebut dan mengirim datanya melalui internet. Selain itu, dalam pembuatan website menggunakan bahasa pemrograman web Hypertext Prepocessor sebagai tempilan. Tentu saja dibutuhkan sebuah jaringan WiFi agar selalu terkoneksi dengan baik.

ABSTRACT In some areas, waste becomes a serious problem for all levels of society, this is because the amount of waste generated continues to accumulate from day to day. Garbage accumulation that occurred in some areas of Indonesia resulted in odor because a lot of garbage that settles. The cause of the buildup of garbage is a lot of garbage that is not handled seriously and the lack of garbage that is at the point of crowd. Therefore, it takes a technology to know whether the trash is full or not, The technology used is based on the Internet of Things. Where with this technology we do not need to check directly on the bin and can be monitored directly by using the website, so it can save time, distance and more efficient in monitoring. To use the Internet of Things required components such as ESP8266 NodeMCU, as well as HC-SR04 sensors to monitor the contents of the trash and send its data over the internet. In addition, in making the website using web programming language Hypertext Prepocessor as the template. Of course it takes a WiFi network to always connect well.
