ABSTRAK Masyarakat Yahudi di Mesir dalam Cerpen "Al-Hazimatu Ismuha Sarah" Karya Muhammad Usman: Analisis Sosiologi Sastra Oleh: Ratih Nurul Hidayah Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkap bagaimana keadaan masyarakat Yahudi di Mesir sebelum dan sesudah Deklarasi Israel tahun 1948 yang terdapat dalam Cerpen "Al-Hazimatu Ismuha Sarah" dalam antologi cerpen "Al-Hazimatu Ismuha Sarah Karya Muhammad Usman". Teori yang digunakan adalah teori sosiologi sastra dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis sosiologi sastra ditemukan bahwa ada perubahan keadaan masyarakat Yahudi di Mesir sebelum dan sesudah deklarasi Israel tahun 1948. Keadaan masyarakat Yahudi di Mesir sebelum deklarasi Israel diwarnai toleransi yang sangat tinggi dengan adanya pengakuan dan penerimaan oleh masyarakat Mesir terhadap masyarakat Yahudi di Mesir dalam bentuk bentuk adanya pernikahan antara Masyarakat Yahudi Mesir dengan Masyarakat Mesir, adanya pesta yang dihadiri bersama masyarakat Yahudi Mesir dan masyarakat Mesir dan diterimanya masyarakat Yahudi Mesir untuk berkerja di pabrik masyarakat Mesir. Sesudah deklarasi Israel tahun 1948, masyarakat Yahudi Mesir mendapatkan intimidasi, pelecehan seksual, penangkapan, dan pengusiran dari masyarakat Mesir. ABSTRACT The Jews of Egypt in Short Story "Al-Hazimatu Ismuha Sarah" By Muhammad Usman: Sociology Literature Analysis By : Ratih Nurul Hidayah The aim of this research is to reveal how the Jewish society in Egypt lived before and after Israel declaration in 1948 in the short story "Al-Hazimatu Ismuha Sarah" in the short story anthology of "Al-Hazimatu Ismuha Sarah". The theory used is theory Sosiology Literature. The method used to analyze the data is descriptive qualitative method. Based on the results of literary sociology analysis, found that there is a change of state of Jewish society in Egypt before and after the declaration of Israel in 1948. The condition of Jewish society in Egypt before the Israel declaration was colored by a very high tolerance with the recognition and acceptance by Egyptian society to Jewish community in Egypt with the form The marriage between the Egyptian Jewish Society and the Egyptian Society, a party attended by the Egyptian society and Jews of Egypt and the acceptance Jews of Egypt to work in Egyptian society factories. After the Israel declaration of 1948, The Jews of Egypt were subjected to intimidation, sexual harassment, arrest and expulsion from Egyptian Keywords: short stories, Jews of Egypt, Egyptian society, Israel declaration, and sociology of literature.
