PENDUGAAN EROSI PADA HUTAN CAMPURAN MENGGUNAKAN MODEL PLOT KECIL DI RPH PETUNG, BKPH CANDIROTO, KPH KEDU UTARA

Hutan Campuran di RPH Petung terdiri dari dua bagian yaitu Hutan Campuran Dengan Tusam dan Hutan Campuran Tanpa Tusam, perbedaan tutupan lahan menyebabkan perbedaan erosi yang terjadi. Oleh karena itu dilakukan penelitian erosi pada Hutan Campuran Dengan Tusam dan Hutan Campuran Tanpa Tusam. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memprakirakan besar erosi, mengetahui hubungan antara curah hujan dan run off serta hubungan antara run off dan erosi di Hutan Campuran Dengan Tusam dan Hutan Campuran Tanpa Tusam dan mengetahui teknik konservasi tanah yang dapat diterapkan pada Hutan Campuran di RPH Petung. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan model plot kecil untuk mengetahui erosi, analisis vegetasi untuk menggambarkan kondisi hutan disajikan menggunakan software SeXI-FS, analisis regresi linier untuk mengetahui hubungan curah hujan dengan run off serta hubungan antara besar run off dengan erosi. Teknik konservasi tanah ditentukan berdasarkan kelerengan, kedalaman tanah dan tingkat bahaya erosi. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa erosi selama penelitian yaitu : Hutan Campuran Dengan Tusam 136,20 kg/ha, Hutan Campuran Tanpa Tusam 439,87kg/ha. Curah hujan mempengaruhi run off dan run off mempengaruhi erosi. Konservasi tanah yang dapat diterapkan di Hutan Kemuning adalah penanaman kembali lahan terbuka, penanaman tanaman penutup tanah dan pembuatan teras gulud. Mixed Forest in RPH Petung consists of two parts which are Mixed Forest With Pine and Mixed Forest Without Pine, land cover difference caused different erosion. Therefore, research erosion on Mixed Forest With Pine and Mixed Forest Without Pine is necessary to conduct. This research aimed to estimate the magnitude of erosion, find out about the relation between precipitations and run off and the relation between run off and erosion on the Mixed Forest With Pine and Mixed Forest Without Pine and discover the soil conservation technique which can be implemented in Kemuning Forest. This research is conducted by using micro catchment model to discover the erosion, vegetation analysis to describe the forest condition served by SeXI-FS software, linear regression analysis to find out the relation between the precipitations and the run off and relation between run off and erosion. Soil conservation is deciced based on soil slope, soil depth and soil erosion level. Result of this research has shown that erosion occurred on Mixed Forest With Pine 136,20 kg/ha, Mixed Forest Without Pine 439,87 kg/ha. Precipitations affected run off and run off affected erosion. Soil conservation that can be implemented in Kemuning Forest are replanting of clear falled forest, cover cropping dan ridge terrace implementation.
