Tugas Akhir ini berjudul Terjemahan Cerita Anak Tenguwarai. Cerita anak ini ditulis oleh Toyoshima Yoshio yang diterbitkan oleh Komine Shouten. Cerita ini berisi tentang permainan Niramekko. Niramekko merupakan permainan tantangan tertawa yang dimainkan oleh dua orang. Selain menerjemahkan cerita di atas, dalam tugas akhir ini juga dibahas mengenai tengu. Cerita ini dipilih karena ceritanya menarik dan mudah dipahami. Selain itu, cerita ini belum pernah diterjemahkan ke dalam Bahasa Indonesia. Dalam menerjemahkan cerita anak ini terdapat beberapa kendala. Kendala pertama yaitu, sulitnya mencari terjemahan onomatope yang tepat. Kendala kedua yaitu, sulitnya menyusun kalimat yang baik ke dalam bahasa Indonesia. Hasil terjemahan Tugas Akhir ini memperhatikan pemilihan kata yang tepat dan diharapkan dapat diterima dan dipahami oleh pembaca.

The title of this final paper is Translation Childrens Story Tenguwarai. The story was written by Toyoshima Yoshio published by Komine Shouten. It tells about the game Niramekko. Niramekko is laugh challenge played by two teams. This final paper not only translate about the story but also discuss about the notion of tengu. Tenguwarai was chosen because the story is interesting and easy to understand. In addition, this story has never been translated into Indonesian before. In translating childrens mythology there are some problems occurs. The first problem is the difficulties in finding match onomatopoeia in first language and the target language. The second problem, there are many compound sentences in the first language text that are difficult to find the coherent sentences into Indonesian. This final project is pay attention in finding the right dictions in order to make all the expressions in the first language are well translated and easy to understand by the readers.
