Pada jaringan 20 kV terjadi gangguan yang bersifat sementara dan juga yang bersifat permanen. Bahkan gangguan yang awalnya hanya bersifat temporer dapat berubah menjadi gangguan permanen karena sistem proteksi yang terpasang tidak bekerja secara optimal. Relay proteksi yang terdapat pada PMT outgoing dan recloser terdiri dari relay arus lebih / Over Current Relay (OCR) dan relay ganggguan tanah / Ground Fault Relay (GFR). Evaluasi koordinasi antara PMT outgoing dengan recloser sebagai peralatan sistem proteksi jaringan Beringin 3 diharapkan dapat menjadi bahan untuk memeriksa keandalan sistem proteksi agar dapat bekerja optimal sesuai dengan ketentuan. Koordinasi waktu kerja dan daerah kerja antara PMT outgoing dengan recloser ini juga diperlukan agar gangguan yang terjadi tidak meluas sampai bagian yang tidak terganggu.

In the 20 kV feeder there are temporary and permanent disturbances. Moreover thedisturbances that was initially only temporary can turn into permanent, because the installed protection system could not work optimally. The protection relays contained in outgoing PMT and recloser consist of Over Current Relay (OCR) and Ground Fault Relay (GFR). Evaluation of coordination between outgoing PMT and recloser as feeder protection system's equipment of Beringin 3 is expected to be material to examine the protection system's reliability in order to work optimally according to provisions. The coordination of work time and work area between outgoing PMT and recloser is also needed so that the disturbane could not extend to the undisturbed area.
