PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN LAHAN TERHADAP PRODUKSI TANAMAN PANGAN HUTAN RAKYAT DI KECAMATAN NGLIPAR GUNUNGKIDUL

Model pengembangan hutan rakyat telah berkembang pesat salah satunya yaitu pemanfaatan lahan di hutan rakyat yang terdiri dari pemanfaatan jenis lahan pekarangan, tegalan, dan wono yang ditanami tanaman pangan dan berkayu. Seiring dengan berjalannya waktu dan pertambahan populasi masyarakat, permintaan dan pemenuhan konsumsi pangan terus meningkat, salah satu alternatif untuk meningkatkan produksi tanaman pangan yaitu mengoptimalkan penggunaan lahan hutan rakyat untuk penyangga kehidupan sebagai pendukung penyedia pangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis produksi tanaman pangan dan mengetahui kesesuaian jenis tanaman di lahan hutan rakyat. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan teknik survey, observasi, dan wawancara tertutup terhadap petani di Desa Kedungkeris, Pilangrejo, dan Kedungpoh Kecamatan Nglipar Kabupaten Gunungkidul. Pengolahan data dengan menginput nilai produksi secara fisik (kg/ha) dan nilai rupiah (Rp/ha) tanaman pertanian, tanaman kehutanan, tanaman perkebunan, dan hasil hutan lain. Berdasarkan hasil dari penggunaan lahan, produksi tanaman pangan di lahan pekarangan didominasi oleh jagung sebesar 208,33 kg/ha, di lahan tegalan didominasi oleh padi sebesar 498,04 kg/ha, di lahan wono didominasi oleh kacang tanah sebesar 39,47 kg/ha. Kesesuaian jenis berdasarkan hasil produksi tanaman, tanaman pertanian lebih sesuai di lahan pekarangan. Tanaman perkebunan lebih sesuai di lahan tegalan dan tanaman kehutanan secara umum lebih sesuai di wono, namun pada penelitian ini produksi tanaman kehutanan lebih sesuai di lahan pekarangan dibandingkan di lahan wono.

With the passage of time and the increase of population, demand and fulfillment of food consumption continues to rise, one of the alternatives to increase production of food crops that optimize the use of these lands for a life support as a provider of food support. This study aimed to analyze the production of food crops and determine the suitability of crops in these lands. This research was conducted with survey techniques, observation, and interviews were closed to the farmers in the village Kedungkeris, Pilangrejo, and Kedungpoh Nglipar District of Gunung Kidul Regency. Data processing by inputting the value of the physical production (kg / ha) and the rupiah (Rp / ha) of agricultural crops, forestry crops, plantation crops, and other forest products. Based on the results of land use, crop production is dominated by corn yard area of 208.33 kg / ha, in the dry land dominated by rice amounted to 498.04 kg / ha, in Wono land dominated by groundnuts amounted to 39.47 kg / ha. Compliance is based on the type of crop production, agricultural crops is more appropriate in their yards. Plantation crops more suitable in dry land and forestry plants are generally more appropriate in Wono, but in this study the production of forest trees in their yards more appropriate than in land Wono.
