AKTIVITAS EKONOMI ISTRI DAN PERANNYA TERHADAP PENDAPATAN RUMAH TANGGA DI DESA SELOPAMIORO, KECAMATAN IMOGIRI, KABUPATEN BANTUL

Adanya kesetaraan gender membuat perempuan dapat melakukan aktivitas ekonomi. Didalam penelitian ini perempuan yang dimaksud adalah istri. Istri selain menjadi ibu rumah tangga dan juga melakukan aktivitas ekonomi atau bekerja. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis aktivitas ekonomi istri, peran istri terhadap pendapatan rumah tangga dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh tingkat pendidikan istri, umur dan pendapatan suami terhadap besarnya nilai kontribusi istri di Desa Selopamioro, Kecamatan Imogiri Kabupaten Bantul. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian aktivitas ekonomi istri yang bekerja memiliki rata-rata jam kerja 8,5 jam/ hari dengan mayoritas responden yang bekerja sebagai buruh. Selain itu nilai rata-rata kontribusi istri sebesar 46 % termasuk dalam kategori sangat tinggi dan jika dilihat dari kategorisasi nilai kontribusi pendapatan istri terhadap pendapatan keluarga, maka terlihat mayoritas istri memiliki kontribusi sangat tinggi dengan nilai kontribusi >50 % sebanyak 220 orang. Selain itu tingkat pendidikan terakhir istri dan umur istri tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap nilai kontribusi istri dan pendapatan suami mempengaruhi nilai kontribusi pendapatan istri dirumah tangga. The existence of gender equality can make women's economic activities. In this study the woman in question is his wife. Wife besides being a housewife and also generate economic activity or work. The purpose of this study was to analyze the economic activity of the wife, the wife's role on household income and education to determine the effect of his wife, age and income of the husband against wife in the value of the contribution Selopamioro Village, Imogiri Bantul. This research uses descriptive quantitative method. The results of the study of economic activity working wives had an average of working hours to 8.5 hours / day with the majority of respondents who work as laborers. In addition the average value contribution of wives of 46% included in the category are very high and when viewed from the categorization value wife revenue contribution to the family income, it looks majority wife have a very high contribution to the value contribution of> 50% as many as 220 people. Besides education level and age of wife wife had no influence on the value contribution of the wife and husband's income affects the value of a wife at home household income contribution.
