GAMBARAN TINGKAT KECEMASAN PESERTA UJI KOMPETENSI NERS INDONESIA FAKULTAS KEDOKTERAN UNIVERSITAS GADJAH MADA

Latar Belakang: Uji kompetensi adalah ujian yang dilaksanakan untuk menilai pencapaian kompetensi sesuai dengan Standar Kompetensi dalam rangka memperoleh sertifikat. Uji kompetensi diselenggarakan bertujuan untuk memberikan pengakuan atas kompetensi lulusan program DIII Kebidanan, DIII Keperawatan dan profesi Ners. Pengakuan kompetensi harus diadakan pada penguasaan lulusan terhadap kompetensi lulusan yang relevan dengan kompetensi kerja untuk menjamin keselamatan pasien dalam praktik. Selain itu uji kompetensi juga dapat dijadikan sebagai bagian dari penjaminan mutu pendidikan. Ujian UKNI merupakan ujian yang memiliki stresor lebih dibandingkan dengan ujian lainnya. Kecemasan ujian berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peserta uji kompetensi. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat kecemasan peserta Uji Kompetensi Ners Indonesia Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Gadjah Mada. Metode: Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif analitik. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah cross-sectional. Sampel sebanyak 82 peserta uji kompetensi dengan menggunakan instrumen utama yaitu Test Anxiety Inventory-German (TAI-G). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Fakultas Kedokteran UGM pada bulan Februari-Maret 2017. Hasil: Sumber kecemasan yang paling banyak disebutkan responden adalah kelulusan ujian sebanyak 59 responden (71,1%) kemudian yang memilih nilai atau hasil ujian sebagai sumber cemas sebanyak 14 responden (16,9%). Kecemasan ujian pada aspek worry sebesar 81 responden (98,8%). Skor kecemasan ujian rendah atau kurang dari rata-rata (43,8%) lebih sedikit dibandingkan responden yang mendapat skor kecemasan ujian tinggi atau lebih dari rata-rata (56,2%) dengan selisih 10 orang. Kesimpulan: Tingkat kecemasan peserta Uji Kompetensi Ners Indonesia Fakultas Kedokteran UGM sebagian besar responden memiliki skor kecemasan ujian yang tinggi.

Background : Competency test is a test conducted to assess the competency's achievement based on the Competency Standard in order to get a certificate. The competency test is conducted to give an acknowledgment of the competence achieved by the graduates of Diploma III program of Midwifery, Diploma III program of Nursing, and Nursing Profession. An professional acknowledgment must be given to the graduates to guarantee the patients' safety. Besides, the competency test can be used as a way to guarantee the education quality. Indonesian Nurse Competency Examtest is a test that having more stressor compared to other tests. The anxiety during the test gives a significant influent towards the participants of the test. Objective: the research was aimed at knowing the anxiety level of the participants of Indonesian Nurse Competency Exam test conducted by Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Gadjah Mada. Method : This research was conducted using descriptive analytic method. The research appliedcross-sectionaldesign.The samples were82 participants of competency test using the main instrument ofTest Anxiety Inventory-German (TAI-G). The research was conducted in Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Gadjah Mada during February to March 2017. Results : Indonesian Nurse Competency Exam is a standard competency test that is commonly used as requirement to achieve a Registered Nersor STR.The source of anxiety that was commonly mentioned by the respondent was the passing of the test, mentioned by 59 respondents (71,1%). 14 respondents (16,9%) stated that source of anxiety was the score or test result. The test anxiety at the worry aspect is stated by 81 respondents (98,8%). The low score of anxiety or lower than mean (43,8%) was less than the high score of anxiety level or higher than mean (56,2%). The gap is 10 respondents. Conclusion: The anxiety level of the most participants of Indonesian Nurse Competency Exam conducted by the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Gadjah Mada shows the high anxiety level.
