PERSEPSI MASYARAKAT TERHADAP DAMPAK SISTEM VERIFIKASI LEGALITAS KAYU PADA HUTAN RAKYAT DI DESA PILANGREJO KECAMATAN NGLIPAR

Gunungkidul dikenal sebagai wilayah hutan (hutan negara maupun hutan rakyat) di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY). Masyarakat sekitar hutan yang bermata pencaharian sebagai petani menggantungkan hidupnya pada kekayaan sumber daya hutan untuk memenuhi kebutuhannya. Keberadaan sertifikasi bagi petani hutan rakyat masih cukup awam dikarenakan minimnya pengetahuan petani mengenai sertifikasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengetahuan dan persepsi masyarakat mengenai keberadaan SVLK pada hutan rakyat. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua teknik pengambilan data yang berupa data primer dan sekunder. Persepsi masyarakat terhadap SVLK dianalisis dengan menggunakan persentase. Persentase diperoleh dari jumlah skor yang dibagi dengan total responden. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Pilangrejo Kecamatan Nglipar tepatnya Hutan Rakyat bersertifikasi yang dikelola oleh CV. Dipantara di Kabupaten Gunung Kidul, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan SVLK di masyarakat sudah berjalan baik terlihat dari tanggapan masyarakat pada berbagai dampak yang meliputi dampak ekonomi, sosial dan lingkungan. Namun perlu adanya pendampingan kepada kelompok tani agar penerapan SVLK berjalan optimal.

Gunungkidul as forest areas (state forests and private forests) in Yogyakarta (DIY). Forest communities are subsistence farmers depend on the wealth of forest resources to meet their needs. The existence of certification for private forest farmers are still quite ignorant farmers due to the lack of knowledge regarding the certification. This study serves to determine knowledge and perceptions about the existence of TLAS in community forests. This study used two techniques of data collection which is a technique of primary and secondary data collection. Public perception of the SVLK analyzed using percentages. The percentage derived from the total score divided by the total respondents. The research was conducted in the village of the District Pilangrejo Community Forests certified Nglipar precisely managed by CV. Dipantara in Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta. The results showed that the application of SVLK in society has been running well visible from the public response to the various impacts which includes the impact of economic, social and environmental. But the need for assistance to farmers' groups in order to run optimally SVLK implementation.
