GAMBARAN LEKOSIT PADA KUCING DOMESTIK DAN KUCING RAS PENDERITA FELINE PANLEUCOPENIA

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran lekosit pada kucing domestik dan kucing ras penderita Feline Panleucopenia di Klinik Departemen Ilmu Penyakit Dalam FKH UGM. Penelitian ini menggunakan 30 ekor pasien kucing yang dinyatakan positif Feline Panleucopenia virus berdasarkan uji Anigen® rapid FPV Ag test kit (Bionote Inc, Korea) terdiri 16 kucing ras dan 14 kucing domestik di Klinik Departemen Ilmu Penyakit Dalam Fakultas Kedokteran Hewan UGM. Pemeriksaan kucing positif penderita Feline Panleucopenia dilakukan menggunakan Anigen® rapid FPV Ag test kit (Bionote Inc, Korea). Kucing yang positif Feline Panleucopenia diambil darahnya dengan dispossable spuit sebanyak 1 ml melalui vena cephalica untuk penghitungan total lekosit. Pemeriksaan dilakukan di Laboratorium Departemen Ilmu Penyakit Dalam Fakultas Kedokteran Hewan UGM. Data hasil pemeriksaan darah kucing dianalisis secara statistik dengan uji T-test. Hasil rata-rata jumlah lekosit pada kucing domestik 1.682,14 ± 1.563,72 sel/µl dan kucing ras 1.481,25 ± 1.232,33 sel/µl. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa terjadi penurunan jumlah lekosit pada kucing domestik maupun kucing ras penderita Feline Panleucopenia. Hasil analisis statistik tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan (P>0,05) antara kucing domestik dan kucing ras penderita Feline Panleucopenia (0,697). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa terjadi penurunan lekosit (lekopenia) pada kucing domestik dan kucing ras penderita Feline Panleucopenia.
Feline Panleucopenia virus attack the blood-forming tissues, lymph nodes and gastrointestinal organ (mucosa), which cause in decreasing number of leukocyte and enteritis. The aim of the present study was to evaluate leucocyte profile of local and pure breed cats with Feline Panleucopenia disease. The sample size was 30 cat patients, it was consisted of 16 pure breed and 14 local cats, respectively. All of patients with Feline Panleucopenia disease were tested using Anigen® rapid FPV Ag test at the Clinic, Department of Internal Medicine, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine UGM. One milliliter of blood sample was taken from cat which positive FPV by vein puncture through vein chephalica using sterile syringes for total leucocyte count. All blood samples were analyzed at the Laboratory of the Department of Internal Medicine, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, UGM. Data of leucocyte profile was analyzed using a T-test. The difference among group was estimated by calculation p-value with the 95% confindence interval. The average of leukocyte in local and pure breed cat was 1.682,14 ± 1.563,72 cell/µl and 1.481,25 ± 1.232,33 cell/µl. Based on the results of leucocyte profile on domestic and pure breed cats showed decrease leucocyte. Based on the results of the p-value calculation among group of cats was not significantly different (P> 0,05) between domestic and pure breed cats with Feline Panleucopenia disease (0,697). Based on the results of this study, showed decrease leucocyte (leucopenia) on domestic and pure breed cats with Feline Panleucopenia disease.
