Perancangan Sistem Pengelolaan Data untuk Analisis Persediaan Bahan dan Produk Teh Herbal Dewi Makmur

ABSTRAK Perencanaan produksi pada suatu industri merupakan hal yang sangat penting dan dibutuhkan guna meningkatkan produktivitas industri. Salah satu perencanaan yang dilakukan untuk efisiensi produksi yaitu dapat berupa Material Requirement Planning (MRP). Pada metode MRP ini melibatkan beberapa faktor yaitu seperti penyimpanan (inventory), penjualan, pembelian, lead time, bill of material (BOM) dan jadwal produksi induk yang mempengaruhi. MRP ini perlu untuk dilakukan atau diterapkan supaya inventory yang berada pada gudang tidak banyak. Hal tersebut dilakukan agar dapat meminimalisir biaya perawatan untuk perawatan bahan atau produk di gudang. Pembuatan MRP memudahkan industri untuk memonitoring persediaan bahan maupun produk agar tidak terjadi out of stock karena akan menurunkan service level industri terhadap konsumen. Namun dalam penerapannya, MRP ini sangat memerlukan data yang banyak sehingga akan mengalami kesulitan jika penerapan MRP ini dilakukan secara manual. Oleh karena itu dalam penerapan MRP dilakukan dengan bantuan software yang dapat diintegrasikan setiap pelaku industri. Dalam software dapat membantu melakukan simulasi database yang dirancang. Namun sebelum melakukan analisis dan perancangan database inventory harus dilakukan penelitian pendahuluan untuk mengetahui pokok permasalahan utama yang ada di industri Teh Herbal CV. Dewi Makmur. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu berupa tabel MRP kebutuhan bahan didasarkan dengan permintaan peramalan. Metode yang digunakan untuk peramalan yaitu hasil MAE terbaik dari 7 metode antara lain single average, moving average, single exponentioal smoothing with trend, double exponentioal smoothing with trend, holt-winter additive, holt-winter multiplicative, dan dekomposisi. Metode terbaik dipilih berdasar nilai MAE dan MSE terkecil yaitu metode dekompoisi. Hasil rancangan atau desain web yang didalamnya memuat tabel MRP dan beberapa informasi lain terkait dengan industri. Sistem web yang dibuat tidak bersifat umum untuk masyarakat melainkan hanya untuk pihak industri saja khususnya pada bagian produksi. Dengan pembuatan web ini diharapkan efisiensi industri CV. Dewi Makmur dalam perencanaan kebutuhan produksi lebih optimal.

ABSTRACT Production planning industry is needed and important things in common industries to increasing productivity. Material Requirement Planning (MRP) is one of the method used in this research to maximizing efficiency of industry. In MRP method consist of some factors such as inventory, sales, purchasing order, lead time, bill of material (BOM) and master production schedule. MRP is important to applied because of this method able to control inventory in warehouse. It means that MRP could control the inventory industry in balanced condition by making production schedule weekly, monthly, or annually. MRP can also minimizing holding cost in raw materials or product warehouse. MRP making can facilitate industry for controlling inventory of raw materials or product supply to avoid out of stock or over production in case that out of stock and over producion could decrease the service level industry to coustomer. However, to apply this method we must get too many data and we would find some difficulties if we applying MRP manually. Hence, MRP would get easier if it combine with software that integrated to all parts in industry. Software helps industry to do simulation of database inventory system. In this case, before we start to analyze and designing inventory database system, preliminary research should be carried out to find the main issues or problem in herbal tea of Dewi Makmur industry. The results based on analysis is MRP table that consist of raw materials requirement from forecasting product. Forecasting methods that used in this research are simple average, moving average, single exponential smoothing with trend, single exponential smoothing with trend, holt-winter additive, holt-winter multiplicative, and decomposition method. The best Mean Absolute Error (MAE) and Mean Square Error (MSE) from those method is decomposition method. Main result of this research is website design that consist of MRP table and some information related to industry data. Website system designed just for staffs and owner of Dewi makmur industry especially plant division. This website system expected to maximizing efficiency in production planning quantity.
