STUDENT CREATIVE SPACE DI YOGYAKARTA DENGAN PENDEKATAN LANDSCAPE

Student Creative Space merupakan suatu ruang kreatif publik yang dibangun dengan tujuan menciptakan workspace bagi mahasiswa pelaku ekonomi kreatif. Space dibangun dalam lingkungan kreatif yang mendukung kegiatan ekonomi kreatif mahasiswa. Student Creative Space juga menyediakan sarana-prasarana yang dapat disewa dengan harga murah sehingga mahasiswa tidak perlu mengeluarkan uang yang banyak sebagai modal usahanya. Space ini berada di Yogyakarta, tepatnya daerah Babarsari, yang dipilih berdasarkan persebaran mahasiswa yang ada di Yogyakarta. Student Creative Space dirancang agar mahasiswa dapat bekerja secara kreatif, produktif, dan kondusif, dalam suasana kreatif. Suasana kreatif tersebut dapat meningkatkan kreativitas pelaku ekonomi kreatif dalam bekerja. Kreativitas tersebut juga dapat dibentuk melalui beberapa kriteria space, yaitu: stimulating space, reflective space, collaborative space, dan playful space. Keempat kriteria space tersebut mengarahkan pada konsep perancangan yang akan digunakan pada setiap ruangnya, yaitu: flexible, playful, dynamic, dan privacy. Flexible dan playful diterapkan untuk menjaga dan memicu kekreatifan. Dynamic atau dinamis diperlukan demi mencapai keproduktifan dalam bekerja dengan memudahkan segala ruang gerak di dalamnya. Privacy dipertahankan untuk mnciptakan kekondusifan dalam bekerja, baik itu dalam kerja individu maupun dalam tim/berkelompok. Untuk mendukung konsep perancangan tersebut, pendekatan yang akan digunakan adalah landscape. Keorganikan landscape dijadikan sebagai alat pemicu kreativitas sehingga landscape dianggap sebagai arsitektur dan arsitektur dianggap sebagai landscape itu sendiri dengan mengadopsi elemen-elemen landscape yang ada (landscape as architecture and architecture as landscape).

Student Creative Space is a creative public space for students who are also creative economic professionals to create their own workspace. The space will be built in creative atmosphere to support all the students creative activities. It will provide some tools and another supported things that can be rented at a low price so that the students should not have spend a lot of money to start doing their business. This space will be in Yogyakarta, located at Babarsari area, that was selected based on the distribution of the students and the campus in Yogyakarta. Student Creative Space will be designed comfortably for students so that they can work in creative, productive, and condusive atmosphere. Their creativity can be impulsed by these types of space: stimulating space, reflective space, collaborative space, and playful space. Those types shape a main design concept of this Student Creative Space: flexible, playful, dynamic, and privacy. Flexible and playful concept will be applied in almost all rooms to make the creativity impulsed. Dynamic concept will be needed to make everyone productive by making the easy movement at work. And privacy concept will be applied to create a condusive space to work individually or in a team. To support all the design concept, landscape will be used as the approach. The organic shape and character of landscape will be used as the stimulator and impulsor of creativity. Landscape is considered as architecture and also the architecture is considered as landscape.
