Peran Gerakan Protes Dalam Usaha Pemakzulan Park Geun-Hye

Gerakan protes di Korea Selatan merupakan salah satu aktor penting dalam usaha pemakzulan Park Geun Hye yang terjadi pada 9 Desember 2016. Gerakan protes di Korea Selatan muncul karena ketidakpuasan mereka terhadap pemerintahan Park Geun Hye yang dianggap telah melakukan tindakan korupsi. Sebagai sebuah gerakan, gerakan protes ini dapat dipahami sebagai grassroots movement yang terbentuk atas dasar isu, bukan berdasar atas ideologi. Hal inilah yang membuat sifat gerakan ini hanya sementara saja. Dalam Pemakzulan Park Geun Hye gerakan protes ini memiliki tiga peran utama. 1) Menggiring opini masyarakat 2) Memberikan tekanan kepada pembuat kebijakan 3) Mengangkat wacana pemakzulan menjadi sebuah agenda politik di parlemen yang harus diselesaikan.

Protest Movement in South is one of the prominent actor on Park Geun Hye Impeachment that happened in December 9th 2016. This movement has arisen as dissatisfaction of Park Geun Hye' Corruption. As a movement, this protest could be understood as grassroots movement that formed by issues than ideology base. Those issues had made this movement only temporary based on goals of this movement. On Park Geun Hye's impeachment, this movement has three primary roles 1) affect public opinions on Park Geun Hye's works 2) give pressure towards parliament member of South Korea to endorse Park Geun Hye's impeachment 3) raise the impeachment discourse to be the most important political agenda that must be finished as soon as possible.
