PERFORMA REPRODUKSI KUDA BETINA DI PETERNAKAN KUDA ECLIPSE STUD AND STABLE SOLO, JAWA TENGAH

Manajemen reproduksi yang baik akan menghasilkan performa reproduksi kuda betina yang efisien untuk diterapkan agar mencapai standar kuda pacu khas Indonesia. Penyusunan Tugas Akhir ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Performa reproduksi kuda betina di peternakan kuda Eclipse Stud and Stable. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada tanggal 6 Februari – 18 Februari 2017 dengan metode observasi, wawancara dan catatan recording dari dokter hewan kuda di peternakan kuda Eclipse Stud and Stable. Terdapat 6 kuda betina yang merupakan kuda betina produktif yang memang dipelihara untuk dimanfaatkan sebagai indukan. Variabel yang digunakan meliputi lama kebuntingan, foaling interval dan service perconception serta kondisi reproduksi di lapangan saat pengambilan data tersebut. Analisis data menggunakan analisa data deskriptif kuantitaf untuk diambil rata-ratanya. Hasilnya diperoleh secara berurutan yaitu rata-rata dari lama kebuntingan, Service per Conception (S/C) dan Foaling Interval (FI) dari 6 kuda betina tersebut adalah 329.50 ± 1.761 hari; 1.67 ± 0.816 kali; dan 385 ± 29.496 hari. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa performa reproduksi kuda betina tersebut baik sebab masih dalam kisaran normal.

A good reproduction management will result in an efficient mares reproduction Performance to be applied in order to achieve Indonesia's Racehourse Standard.The arrangement of this Final Paper aims to find out the reproduction Performance of a mare at The Eclipse Stud and Stable horse farm.The data were collected on February 6th - February 18th, 2017 with the method of observation, interview and note taking of a recording by the Veterinarian at The Eclipse Stud and Stable horse farm. There are 6 productive mares which are kept to be used as the sires.Variables used are including the duration of pregnancy, foaling interval and perconception service and the conditions of the reproduction in the field at the same time as the writer took the data. The data analysis is using descriptive quantitative data analysis to be taken in order to find out the the average number.The results were obtained in a sequence that the mean of the duration of pregnancy which include the Service per Conception (S / C) and Foaling Interval (FI) of the 6 mares were 329.50 ± 1.761 days; 1.67 ± 0.816 times; and 385 ± 29,496 days.It can be concluded that the Performance of mare reproduction is good because the result indicates that it is still within the normal range.
