KASUS KEJADIAN Strongyloidiasis PADA BULL DI UNIT PELAKSANA TEKNIS DINAS - BALAI PENGEMBANGAN BIBIT, PAKAN TERNAK, DAN DIAGNOSTIK KEHEWANAN (UPTD-BPBPTDK) YOGYAKARTA TAHUN 2014-2016

Infeksi parasit internal masih menjadi faktor yang sering mengganggu kesehatan ternak dan mempunyai dampak kerugian ekonomi yang besar. Salah satu infeksi parasit internal yang sering ditemukan yaitu Strongyloidiasis. Strongyloidiasis adalah infestasi nematoda Strongyloides sp. pada usus halus yang dapat menyebabkan dermatitis dan balantopostithis jika melalui jalur perkutan atau dapat menyebabkan diare dalam kasus yang berat. Tujuan penulisan tugas akhir ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat porsentase kejadian Strongyloidiasis pada sapi bull di UPTD �¢ï¿½ï¿½ BPBPTDK. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pencatatan data hasil pengujian sampel feses selama kurun waktu tiga tahun terakhir. Dari hasil pengujian feses dengan menggunakan metode sentrifus dan uji natif prosentase kasus Strongyloidiasis pada tahun 2014 yaitu 60% dari 15 sampel yang diuji, tahun 2015 yaitu 23,5% dari 17 sampel yang diuji, dan tahun 2016 yaitu 23,5% dari 17 sampel yang di uji. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pada tahun 2014 prosentase kejadian Strongyloidiasis masih cukup tinggi dibanding tahun tahun berikutnya, hal ini diduga berkaitan dengan musim atau kondisi cuaca dan lingkungan, manajemen pemeliharaan, sanitasi kandang, kualitas dan kuantitas pakan dan kontrol kesehatan yang belum maksimal.

Internal parasite infections are still a factor that often interferes with livestock health and has a large economic loss impact. One of the most common internal parasitic infection is Strongyloidiasis. Strongyloidiasis is an infestation off the nematode Strongyloides sp. in the small intestine which can causes dermatitis and balantopostithis if through percutaneous pathways or may cause dhiarreha in severe cases. The purpose of this thesis is to know the precentage level of Strongyloidiasis incident on bull in UPTD �¢ï¿½ï¿½ BPBPTDK. Data collection is done by recording data of faeces sampel test result over the last three years. From the fese test result by usung the method of centrifuge and the native test of the precentage of cases of Strongyloidiasis in 2014 that is 60% of 15 samples tested, in 2015 is 23,5% of 17 samples tested, and in 2016 also 23,5% of 17 samples tested. This shows that in 2014 the precentage of Strongyloidiasis occurence is still quite high compared to the following year, it is suspected related to the weather or environmental conditions, maintenance management, sanitation management of the cage, the quality and quantity of feed and health control that has not been maximized.
