PERILAKU PETANI DALAM PELAKSANAAN PROGRAM UPAYA KHUSUS PADI DI KECAMATAN PRAMBANAN DAN KEDELAI DI KECAMATAN SEWON DAERAH ISTIMEWA YOGYAKARTA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menganalisis tingkat perilaku petani dalam pelaksanaan program upaya khusus padi di Kecamatan Prambanan dan kedelai di Kecamatan Sewon Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, (2) mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh faktor situasional dan faktor personal terhadap perilaku petani padi dan petani kedelai dalam program upaya khusus baik secara langsung atau tidak langsung. Metode dasar penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analitis dengan pendekatan metode kuantitatif secara survey. Lokasi penelitian ditentukan secara purposive, untuk Kecamatan Prambanan yaitu Desa Bokoharjo dan Desa Madurejo, dan Kecamatan Sewon yaitu Desa Pandowoharjo dan Desa Panggungharjo dengan pertimbangan daerah tersebut sudah melaksanakan program upaya khusus. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan ialah 100 responden untuk Kecamatan Prambanan dan 100 responden untuk Kecamatan Sewon yang diambil secara proportional random sampling. Data dianalisis dengan uji proporsi dan analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) sebagian besar petani memiliki perilaku yang tinggi pada program upaya khusus padi di Kecamatan Prambanan dan kedelai di Kecamatan Sewon, (2) variabel yang berpengaruh langsung untuk petani padi yaitu peran ketua kelompok (p< 0,05 dengan besar efek 0,523), peran penyuluh pertanian (p < 0,01 dengan besar efek -0,400), dan motivasi (p <0,05 dengan besar efek 0,239). Variabel yang tidak berpengaruh langsung untuk petani padi yaitu umur, pendidikan, sikap, bantuan sarana dan prasarana, peran babinsa, dan peran mahasiswa. Variabel yang berpengaruh langsung untuk petani kedelai yaitu bantuan sarana dan prasarana (p < 0,01 dengan besar efek 0,419), peran penyuluh pertanian (p < 0,01 dengan besar efek -0,805), dan peran ketua kelompok tani (p < 0,01 dengan besar efek -0,550). Variabel yang tidak berpengaruh langsung untuk petani kedelai yaitu peran babinsa dan peran mahasiswa.

The goal of this research is to: (1) to analyze the behavior of farmers in the implementation of Upaya Khusus paddy in Prambanan District and soy in Sewon District Yogyakarta Special Region, (2) to identify and analyze the influence of situational factors and personal factors on the behavior of paddy farmers and soy farmers in Upaya Khusus program either directly or indirectly. The basic method of this research is descriptive analysis with quantitative survey method approach. The research location was determined by purposive, for Prambanan district the location are Bokoharjo and Madurejo village, and for Sewon district the location are Pandowoharjo and Panggungharjo village. This village was chosen because of the consideration that these villages have already implementing Upaya Khusus. The number of samples used in this research is 100 respondents from Prambanan district and 100 respondents from Sewon district taken by proportional random sampling. The data is analyzed with proportion test and path analysis. The results of this research show that (1) the majority of farmers have a high behavior toward upaya khusus whether it is paddy in Prambanan district or soy in Sewon district. (2) variables that influence directly for paddys farmer are the role of group leader (p< 0,05 effect value 0,523), the role of agricultural extension (p < 0,01 effect value -0,400), and motivation (p < 0,05 effect value 0,239). Variables that influence indirectly for paddys farmer are age, education, attitude, facilities and infrastructure support, the role of babinsa, and the role of student. Variables that influence directly for soy farmer are facilities and infrastructure support (p< 0,01 effect value 0,419), the role of agricultural extension (p < 0,01 effect value -0,805), and the role of group leader (p < 0,01 effect value -0,550). Variables that influence indirectly for soy farmer are the role of babinsa and the role of student.
