PERKEMBANGAN EMBRIO AYAM KAMPUNG UNGGULAN BALITNAK (KUB) STAGE 34 SAMPAI 40

Ayam Kampung adalah ayam lokal Indonesia yang erat kaitannya dalam kehidupan masyarakat Indonesia. Potensi ayam Kampung perlu ditingkatkan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan nutrisi masyarakat dan meningkatkan pendapatan peternak lokal. Ayam KUB (Kampung Unggulan Balitnak) adalah ayam Kampung yang telah mengalami proses seleksi dari Balai Penelitian Ternak (Balitnak) untuk tujuan memproduksi telur dan meningkatkan populasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui perkembangan ayam KUB pada stage 34 sampai 40. Stage 34 sampai 40 merupakan tahap perkembangan paruh dan jari ketiga pada ayam. Pengukuran panjang paruh dan jari ketiga dilakukan untuk mengetahui kecepatan pertumbuhan embrio ayam. Penelitian ini dapat dimanfaaatkan sebagai media perkembangan virus dan dasar penelitian lanjutan yang berkaitan dengan perkembangan embriologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan telur ayam Kampung fertil stage 34 sampai 40 yang diambil dari Kelompok Tani Sawung Maju, Karongan, Jogotirto, Berbah, Sleman, Yogyakarta. Embrio setiap stage diambil lalu diukur panjang paruh dan panjang jari ketiga. Stage 34 ayam KUB telah muncul membran niktitan dan paruh, panjang paruh 2,3 mm; panjang jari ketiga 7,7 mm. Stage 35 panjang paruh adalah 4 mm; panjang jari ketiga 6,5 mm. Stage 36 panjang paruh 6,7 mm; panjang jari ketiga 10 mm. Stage 37 kelopak mata sudah muncul, panjang paruh 5 mm; panjang jari ketiga 11,3 mm. Stage 38 kelopak mata sudah tertutup, panjang paruh 6 mm; panjang jari ketiga 13 mm. Stage 39 kelopak mata sudah tertutup, panjang paruh 8 mm; panjang jari ketiga 24 mm. Stage 40 panjang paruh 10,5 mm; panjang jari ketiga 24,5 mm.

Ayam Kampung is a local Indonesian chickens closely related in the life of Indonesian society. Potential ayam Kampung needs to be improved to meet the nutritional needs of the community and increase the income of local farmers. KUB chicken is local chicken that have undergone a process of selection of the Balai Penelitian Ternak (Balitnak) for the purpose of producing eggs and increase the population. This study was conducted to determine the development of KUB chicken on stage 34 to 40. Stage 34 to 40 are developmental of beak and the third finger on the chicken. Measurements were taken of the beak and third finger to determine the speed of growth of the chick embryo. This study can be used as a medium for the growth of viruses and basic advanced research related to the development of embryology. This research used chicken eggs Kampung fertile stage 34 to 40, which is taken from Kelompok Tani Sawung Maju, Karongan, Jogotirto, Berbah, Sleman, Yogyakarta. Each stage embryo is taken and then measured the length of the beak and the length of the third finger. Stage 34 KUB chicken has appeared membrane niktitan and beak, the beak length of 2.3 mm; the third finger length of 7.7 mm. Stage 35 has the beak length of 4 mm; the third finger length of 6.5 mm. Stage 36 has the beak length of 6.7 mm; the third finger length of 10 mm. Stage 37 eyelids already appeared, the beak length of 5 mm; the third finger length of 11.3 mm. Stage 38 was closed eyelids, the beak length of 6 mm; the third finger length of 13 mm. Stage 39 was closed eyelids, the beak length of 8 mm; the third finger length of 24 mm. Stage 40 has the beak length 10.5 mm; the third finger length of 24.5 mm.
