Penelitian ini membahas tentang strategi Bupati dan Wakil Bupati dalam memobilisasi dukungan pemilih. Kasus Pilkada Kabupaten Bantul pada tahun 2010. Dengan permasalahan penelitian adalah bagaimana proses mobilisasi yang dilakukan pasangan calon Bupati dan Wakil Bupati Hj.Sri-Sumarno terhadap dukungan supporter PASERBUMI dalam Pemilukada di Kabupaten Bantul pada tahun 2010, dan melihat hasil perolehan kemenangannya. Tujuannya antara lain : 1). Menjelaskan proses mobilisasi dukungan supporter Paserbumi yang dilakukan oleh pasangan calon Bupati Hj.Sri-Sumarno dalam Pilkada Kab Bantul tahun 2010. 2).mengetahui seberapa jauh strategi pasangan ccalon Bupati tersebut dalam upaya memobilisasi dukungan supporter. 3). Mengetahu alasan dan kesulitan pasangan calon Bupati Kab Bantul Hj.Sri-Sumarno dalam memobilisasi dukungan supporter saat Pilkada di tahun 2010. 4). Penelitian ini mampu lebih fokus memotret strategi politik yang telah digunakan calon Bupati sebagai landasan utama menjelaskan keberhasilan dalam berkompetisi dalam Pemilukada. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pasangan calon Bupati dan Wakil Bupati Hj.Sri-Sumarno memiliki mesin politik yang kuat dalam memobilisasi dukungan pemilih, mobilisasi yang dilakukan adalah pertama, melalui struktur organisasi kelompok supporter sepakbila PASERBUMI. Kedua, image atau citra politik yang dibangun. Ketiga, program-program yang ditawarkan pada saat kampanye. Keempat, adalah melihat hasil kemenangan Hj.Sri-Sumarno saat Pilkada 2010 di Bantul. Mobilisasi dukungan pemilih saat Pilkada langsung adalah proses yang dijalankan partai politik atau kandidat untuk memperoleh suara atau kemenangan yang ingin dicapai Kata kunci : partai Politik atau kandidat, mobilisasi dukungan pemilih,pemilihan daerah secara langsung.

this study discussed about the strategy of the regent and vice regent in mobilizing voters acceptance, the Bantul regency election process in 2010. The background of the study was how was the mobilization conducted by the regent and the vice regent to the proponents of PASERBUMI in the election voting in Bantul Regencyin2010,and to find out the result of the election process. the aims of the study was to : explain the mobilization process of the of the PASERBUMI proponents conducted by the candidates Hj. Sri-Sumarno in the election process in 2010. find out how far is their reason and difficulties in mobilizing the proponents' acceptance.find out their reasons and difficulties in mobilizing the proponents acceptance in election process in 2010. focus on the pulitic strategies conducted by the candidatesas the main base whichexplained the success in the election process. the result of the study showed that the candidates Hj.Sri-Sumarno had the strong politic machine in mobilizingthe voters acceptance ; the first mobilization was by using the organization structure of the football supporters PASERBUMI. the second mobilization was by using the established politic impression. the third would be the programs that were offered during the election process. the fourth mobilization was to find out the candidates victoryin the election for the regency goverment in Bantul in 2010. the mobilization of the proponents acceptance during the election process for the regency government was the process wich was conducted by the politic party or the candidate ro gain votes or victory. keyword : politic party or candidate, mobilization of the proponents acceptance, the direct election for the regency government.
