PENGGUNAAN MOVING AVERAGE UNTUK MENGETAHUI TREND DAN KEPUTUSAN BELI ATAU JUAL SAHAM HMSP

Penulisan yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk menilai apakah Moving Average konsisten terhadap saham HMSP untuk mengetahui trend dan keputusan jual atau beli saham periode Februari 2016 sampai Januari 2017. Hasil penilaian menunjukan bahwa pola pergerakan harga saham HMSP selama satu tahun cenderung mendatar (sideways) dengan harga rata-rata saham adalah Rp. 3.940,-. Untuk harga saham tertinggi adalah Rp. 4.240,-, dan harga saham terendah adalah Rp. 3.640,-. Pada triwulan pertama dan kedua menunjukkan bahwa pergerakan harga cenderung mendatar, sehingga trend cenderung mendatar (sideways). Pada triwulan ketiga menunjukkan bahwa pergerakan harga cenderung naik, sehingga trend cenderung naik. Pada triwulan keempat menunjukkan bahwa pergerakan harga cenderung mendatar (sideways). Pada bulan Februari 2016 Moving Average konsisten untuk keputusan beli saham HMSP. Pada bulan Maret sampai April 2016 Moving Average konsisten untuk keputusan jual saham HMSP. Pada Bulan Mei 2016 Moving Average konsisten untuk keputusan beli dan jual saham HMSP. Pada bulan Juni 2016 Moving Average konsisten untuk keputusan jual saham HMSP. Pada bulan Juli sampai Oktober 2016 Moving Average konsisten untuk keputusan beli dan jual saham HMSP. Pada bulan November 2016 Moving Average konsisten untuk keputusan jual saham HMSP. Pada bulan Desember 2016 sampai Januari 2017 Moving Average konsisten untuk keputusan beli dan jual saham HMSP.

This study aims at evaluating the consistency of Moving Average toward HMSP stock to ascertain trend and decision to buy or sell stock during February 2016 to January 2017 period. The result of evaluation shows that HMSP stock rate moving pattern during one year tends to be sideways with average rate Rp. 3.940,-. The maximum stock rate is Rp. 4.240,- and the minimum stock rate is Rp. 3.640,-. In the first and second quarterly, the data shows that the rate moving tends to be flat; therefore the trend tends to be sideways. In the third quarterly, the data shows that rate moving tends to rise; therefore trend tends to rise. In the forth quarterly, the data shows that the rate moving tends to be sideways. On February 2016, the Moving Average is consistent in the decision to buy HMSP stock. From March to April 2016, the Moving Average is consistent in the decision to sell HMSP stock. On May 2016, the Moving Average is consistent in the decision to buy and sell HMSP stock. On June 2016, the Moving Average is consistent in the decision to sell HMSP stock. From July to October 2016, the Moving Average is consistent in the decision to buy and sell HMSP stock. On November 2016, the Moving Average is consistent in the decision to sell HMSP stock. From December 2016 to January 2017, the Moving Average is consistent in the decision to buy and sell HMSP stock.
