Hubungan Umur Ibu saat Bersalin dengan Kejadian Berat Bayi Lahir Rendah (BBLR)

Berat Bayi Lahir Rendah (BBLR) adalah bayi yang lahir dengan berat kurang dari 2.500 gram. Berat badan lahir seorang bayi dipengaruhi oleh faktor dari ibu maupun dari bayi itu sendiri. Umur ibu yang terlalu muda dan terlalu tua (<20 tahun dan >35 tahun) akan meningkatkan risiko kejadian BBLR. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan umur ibu saat bersalin dengan kejadian BBLR. Jenis penelitian ini adalah analitik observasional dengan rancangan cross sectional. Populasi target dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh ibu yang melahirkan di RSUD Wates, dan populasi terjangkaunya adalah seluruh ibu yang melahirkan pada bulan Januari-Desember 2016 di RSUD Wates. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian adalah umur ibu saat bersalin dan variabel terikatnya adalah BBLR. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling dengan 67 responden. Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi. Analisis bivariat untuk mengetahui hubungan umur ibu saat bersalin dengan kejadian BBLR menggunakan uji Spearman rank. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 67 responden, sebagian besar ibu melahirkan pada umur 20-35 tahun, yaitu sebanyak 39 orang (58,2%). Ibu yang melahirkan bayi BBLR sebanyak 32 orang (47,8%). Kejadian BBLR di RSUD Wates pada tahun 2016 lebih banyak terjadi pada ibu dengan umur >35 tahun yaitu 17 orang (25,4%). Hasil analisis uji Spearman Rank didapatkan pvalue = 0,001 (pvalue < 0,05) artinya terdapat hubungan umur ibu saat bersalin dengan kejadian BBLR. Nilai koefisien korelasi yang didapat adalah sebesar 0,407 yang menunjukkan korelasi yang positif dengan kekuatan korelasi sedang antara variabel dependen dan independen.

Low Birth Weight (LBW) Infant are babies who born weighing less than 2,500 gram. A baby birth weight is influenced by factors of the mother and the baby. Too young and too old of maternal age (<20 years and >35 years) will increase the risk of LBW. This study aims to identify correlation between maternal age during labor with the incidence of LBW. This study is an observational analytic with crosssectional design. The target population are all women who giving birth in Wates Public Hospital, and the accessibility population is around the mother who give birth in January - December 2016 in Wates Public Hospital. Independent variable in this study is the age of the mother during labor and the dependent variable is LBW. The sampling technique use simple random sampling with 67 respondents. Collecting data use observation sheets. Bivariate analysis is use to identify the correlation between maternal age during child birth with the incidence of LBW with Spearman rank test. The results showed among 67 respondents, the majority of mothers give birth at the age of 20-35 years, as many as 39 peoples (58.2%). Mothers who give birth low birth weight babies as many as 32 peoples (47.8%). Incidence of LBW in Wates Public Hospital in 2016 is more common in women with age of 35 years are 17 peoples (25.4%). The results of Spearman Rank test showed p-value= 0,001 (p-value <0.05) means that there is a correlation between maternal age during child birth with the incidence of low birth weight. The value of the rs = 0,407 that shows a positive correlation with moderate strength between the dependent and independent variable.
