Tugas Akhir ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi pengelolaan persediaan pada UKM (Usaha Kecil dan Menengah) serta menganalisis kekurangannya agar lebih optimal dan efisien. Studi kasus Tugas Akhir ini dilakukan pada Sentra Manik Kaca Gudo. Sentra Manik Kaca Gudo adalah UKM yang bergerak dalam produksi manik berbahan dasar limbah kaca. Sentra Manik Kaca Gudo terletak di Desa Gambang, Kecamatan Gudo, Kabupaten Jombang, Provinsi Jawa Timur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan persediaan pada Sentra Manik Kaca Gudo masih kurang efektif, dimana penjual pada Sentra Manik Kaca Gudo tidak melakukan pemisahan fungsi, tugas, dan kewenangan atas persediaan; belum memiliki tempat penyimpanan atau gudang yang efektif; tidak memiliki kebijakan dan standarisasi atas persediaan; belum melakukan pengklasifikasian persediaan secara optimal; tidak melakukan pengawasan dan pengecekan terhadap persediaan; tidak melakukan pemisahan persediaan rusak; serta tidak adanya proses pencatatan dan pelaporan atas persediaan; serta tidak melakukan pencatatan dan pengelolaan terhadap biaya-biaya yang timbul atas persediaan.

This final project aims to determine the condition of the management over inventory of SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) and analyzed the shortcomings in order to more optimally and efficiently. Final case study was conducted at the Glass Bead Centers in Gudo. Glass Bead Centers in Gudo are SMEs engaged in production of beads from glass waste. Glass Bead Centers Gudo located in the village of Gambang, District Gudo, Jombang, East Java. The results showed that the management over inventory at Glass Bead Centers in Gudo still less effective, which the seller at Glass Bead Centers in Gudo not separate the functions, duties, and authority over inventory; do not have an effective storage area or warehouse; does not have a policy and standardization over inventory; classification of inventory is not optimal; not conducting inspections and checks over inventory; do not perform the separation of damaged inventory; as well as the absence of a process for recording and reporting on inventory; and did not record and manage the costs that arise over inventory.
