Bus merupakan alat transportasi yang banyak digunakan di Indonesia. Sebagai dampaknya, banyak jasa penyedia transportasi bus yang beroperasi pada berbagai kota di indonesia. Permasalahan yang muncul adalah sulitnya mencari informasi bus yang dibutuhkan oleh calon penumpang karena informasi ketersediaan bus disampaikan secara terpisah oleh masing-masing penyedia jasa transportasi. Untuk memudahkan calon penumpang untuk menemukan rute bus, penyedia jasa transportasi dapat memanfaatkan sebuah aplikasi web yang mampu untuk memberikan detail bus dan rute dari berbagai penyedia jasa transportasi yang dibutuhkan oleh calon penumpang. Aplikasi ini dibangun berbasis web dengan bahasa pemrograman PHP, framework Yii, dan MySQL sebagai sistem manajemen database. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pengujian, Aplikasi Web Pencarian Rute Bus berhasil menampilkan rute bus dari lokasi awal menuju lokasi tujuan serta mampu mendeteksi lokasi geografis pengguna. Dengan demikian, aplikasi tersebut berhasil membantu calon penumpang untuk menemukan rute bus sesuai kebutuhan.

Bus is a widely used transportation service in Indonesia. As a result, many bus transportation service providers are operating in cities in Indonesia. The resulting problem is the difficulty to find information about bus needed by potential customers because bus availability information is delivered separately by each of transportation service providers. In order to help potential customer to find the desired bus route, transportation service providers can utilize an web application which is able to deliver bus details and routes from transportation service providers that fit customer�s needs. This application is built web based using PHP programming language, Yii framework, and MySQL as database management system. Based on the results of research and testing, Web Application of Bus Route Searching successfully displays bus route from initial location to destination and is able to detect user geolocation. Thus, this application succeeds to help potential customer finding the desired bus route.
