2017 | Skripsi | S1 KEHUTANANRuang Terbuka Hijau (RTH) di UGM menjadi salah satu bagian dari pendidikan untuk pengembangan berkelanjutan. Hal tersebut mempertimbangkan teknis fungsional dan juga filosofis. RTH ini juga merupakan bagian penting dari struktur pembentuk kota Yogyakarta, serta upaya dalam perbaikan kualitas lingkungan. Penelitaian bertujauan mengidentifikasi jenis-jenis pohon penyusun, model arsitektur, kesesuaian pohon, dan fungsi pohon di RTH zona Bhinneka Tunggal Ika (BTI) UGM Penelitian dilakukan secara sensus 100% di RTH zona BTI UGM. Kawasan dibagi menjadi 3 area berdasarkan pertimbangan fungsi area. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif untuk menjelaskan jenis, model arsitektur, dan fungsi pohon agar mempermudah dalam mengevaluasi kesesuaian model arsitektur dan fungsi pohon. Hasil inventarisasi dan identifikasi jenis pohon di kawasan RTH zona BTI UGM diperoleh 72 jenis pohon yang terdiri dari 34 famili dengan 12 model arsitektur. Model arsitektur tersebut yakni : Attim (2 jenis), Aubreville (3 jenis), Champagnat (1 jenis), Corner (3 jenis), Kwan koriba (5 jenis), Leeuwenberg (1 jenis), Massrart (1 jenis), Petit (1 jenis), Rauh (13 jenis), Roux (15 jenis), Scarrone (4 jenis), Troll (23 jenis). RTH memiliki 3 fungsi, yakni: ekologi, sosial, dan estetika.
The Green Open Space (GOS) at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) is one of the objects of continuous development education; this is based on its technical functionality and is philosophical. GOS is also an essential element of Yogyakartas landscape and a product of the efforts in improving environment quality. The research is meant to identify the architecture model, species of trees, tree suitability, and tree function at the GOS of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika (BTI) zone, UGM. The research was done by conducting a census at the GOS of BTI zone, UGM. The research area was divided into 3 areas based on their functions. The research data were analyzed with descriptive-qualitative method to describe the architecture model, tree species, and tree function to ease the evaluation of the architecture model and tree function suitability. Seventy two species of trees were observed, consisting of 34 families, and are of 12 tree architecture models. The tree architecture models are: Attim (2 species), Aubreville (3 species), Champagnat (1 species), Corner (3 species), Kwan koriba (5 species), Leeuwenberg (1 species), Massrart (1 species), Petit (1 species), Rauh (13 species), Roux (15 species), Scarrone (4 species), and Troll (23 species).
