PENGARUH PERBEDAAN KONSENTRASI BAHAN PENYAMAK NABATI KULIT MANGROVE(Rhizopora Sp.) TERHADAP KUALITASKULIT IKAN NILA TERSAMAK

2017 | Skripsi | S1 ILMU DAN INDUSTRI PETERNAKANPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perbedaan konsentrasi bahan penyamak nabati terhadap kualitas kulit ikan nila tersamak dan mengetahui konsentrasi bahan penyamak nabati yang menghasilkan kulit ikan nila tersamak paling baik. Penelitian ini dilakukan 3 kali ulangan dan 3 variasi perlakuan pemberian konsentrasi bahan penyamak nabati yang berbeda, yaitu: 5%, 10%, dan 15%. Tahapan prosesnya mulai dari pra penyamakan, penyamakan, pasca penyamakan hingga penyelesaian. Selanjutnya, dilakukan pengujian kekuatan tarik, kemuluran, dan suhu kerut. Hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan Rancangan Acak Pola Searah dan jika ada yang berbeda nyata dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) �± = 0,05). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai kemuluran kulit ikan nila yang disamak nabati berpengaruh nyata. Level pemberian bahan penyamak nabati 5% mempunyai nilai 73,00%, 10% mempunyai nilai 48,00% dan selanjutnya 15% mempunyai nilai dan 53,33%. Sedangkan nilai kekuatan tarik dan suhu kerut tidak berpengaruh nyata. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukan bahwa perlakuan dengan konsentrasi 5% menghasilkan kulit ikan nila dengan kualitas yang baik.
The research aimed to know the effect of different concentration of vegetable tanning agent on nila leather quality and to determine which concentration give the best nila vegetable tanned leather quality. The research was conducted with three treatments and three replication. Treatmens concist of different concentration of vegetable tanning agent, which were 5%, 10% and 15%. Tanning process started with pretanning, tanning, pascatanning then finishing. Variable measured were tensile strength, flexibility and shrinkage temperature. The observed data were analyzed using one way annova followed by Duncan Multiple range test (DMRT). The result showed that the treathments were significant against nila leather flexibility. Leather with 5% treatment had 73% flexibility, 10% had 48% flexibility and 15% had 53% flexibility. There was no significant differences on tensile strength and shrinkage temperature. Conclusion of this research was treatment with 5% concentration of vegetable tanning agent give the best nila leather quality.
