PEMBUATAN CUTTING OFF POMPA INJEKSI DIESEL (TIPE IN-LINE)

ABSTRACT Injection pump is main part of the diesel engine which serves to pump the fuel from the tank and then distributed to the combustion chamber (cylinder) with a sprayed at the right time by injector, so that combustion occurs inside the combustion chamber (cylinder) as well. Injection pump works on the basis of the movement of the camshaft rotates so as to produce the movement back and forth from a spring and plunger, the plunger back and forth with the movement will hit the fuel entering through the suction hole and through the valve and then out of high measurement pipe leading to the injector which is then channeled into the cylinder. The process of making props diesel injection pump is done with the process, selection of materials, demolition, cutting components, manufacture holder props, the coloring, and the coupling, with the aim to make the work of the components in the injection pump can be seen. Results from the manufacture of props pump injection diesel has the goal as a means of learning to recognize and learn of the function of each component, and the workings of the injection pump. INTISARI Pompa Injeksi (Injection Pump) adalah salah satu bagian dari mesin diesel yang paling utama dan berfungsi untuk memompa bahan bakar dari tangki kemudian disalurkan ke ruang bakar (silinder) dengan cara disemprotkan pada saat yang tepat oleh injector, sehingga terjadi pembakaran di dalam ruang bakar (silinder) dengan baik. Pompa injeksi bekerja atas dasar gerakan dari camshaft yang berputar sehingga menghasilkan gerakan bolak balik dari pegas dan plunger, dengan gerakan bolak-balik plunger akan menekan bahan bakar yang masuk melalui lubang isap serta melewati katup dan kemudian keluar dari pipa tekanan tinggi menuju ke injector yang kemudian disalurkan ke dalam silinder. Proses pembuatan alat peraga pompa injeksi diesel dilakukan dengan tahapan yaitu, proses pemilihan bahan, pembongkaran, pemotongan komponen, pembuatan dudukan alat peraga, pewarnaan, dan perangkaian dengan tujuan agar kerja dari komponen-komponen di dalam pompa injeksi dapat dilihat. Hasil dari pembuatan alat peraga pompa injeksi mesin diesel ini mempunyai tujuan sebagai sarana pembelajaran untuk mengenali dan mempelajari fungsi dari masing-masing komponen, dan cara kerja pompa injeksi.
