SISTEM INFORMASI PENERIMAAN SISWA BARU BERBASIS WEB SMA NEGERI 2 TASIKMALAYA

Proses penerimaan siswa baru di SMA Negeri 2 Tasikmalaya saat ini masih menggunakan cara manual yaitu, calon siswa mendaftar langsung ke sekolah. Calon siswa harus melakukan pembayaran terlebih dahulu kemudian mengisi formulir pendaftaran dan melengkapi syarat pendaftaran. Semua kegiatan tersebut dilakukan secara manual di bagian administrasi SMA Negeri 2 Tasikmalaya. Hal ini sangat menyulitkan bagi calon siswa dari luar kota Tasikmalaya. Dari sisi tim penerimaan siswa baru, penyeleksian dilakukan secara manual, berkas calon siswa diperiksa satu persatu oleh tim PSB, kemudian tim PSB melakukan perhitungan nilai untuk menentukan calon siswa yang lulus seleksi. Proses tersebut membutuhkan banyak orang untuk melakukan verifikasi berkas calon siswa dan juga membutuhkan waktu yang lama untuk proses seleksi nilai. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, perlu dibuat sistem informasi penerimaan siswa baru SMA Negeri 2 Tasikmalaya yang berbasis web untuk menangani proses penerimaan siswa baru secara online, dan proses seleksi yang dimudahkan dengan bantuan sistem. Sistem ini dibangun menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dengan framework Laravel, JavaScript dengan framework jQuery, webserver Apache, dan MySQL untuk pengolahan basis data. Dalam sistem ini, terdapat beberapa fitur yang disediakan yaitu, informasi pendaftaran, pendaftaran online, pengumpulan berkas online, seleksi tersistematis, serta grafik data penerimaan siswa baru. Melalui sistem penerimaan siswa baru ini, calon siswa dapat dengan mudah melakukan pendaftaran di SMA Negeri 2 Tasikmalaya secara online. Selain itu, tim PSB dapat melakukan penyeleksian secara langsung dan mudah menggunakan sistem.

The process of new student admission in SMA Negeri 2 Tasikmalaya currently is still using the manual way which the applicants need to enroll directly to the school. The applicants must make a payment first, then fill in a registration form and completing the registration requirements. All of these activities are done manually in administration SMA Negeri 2 Tasikmalaya. It could complicate the other applicants who come from the other cities out of Tasikmalaya. In terms of the new student admission team, the selection is done manually, the applicant files examined one by one by the PSB team, then the PSB team make the calculations to determine the grade of the applicants who pass the selection. This process requires a lot of people to verify the files of the applicants and also take a long time for the grade selection process. Based on these problems, it needs to be created a web-based system of the admission of new students in SMA Negeri 2 Tasikmalaya to handle the new student admission process by online, and the selection process is facilitated with the help of system. The system is built by using the PHP programming language with laravel framework, JavaScript with jQuery framework, Apache web server, and MySQL for database processing. In this system, there are some features provided such as, registration informations, online registration, online file uploading, selection by system, and also data graph of new admissions. Through this new admissions system, the applicants can enroll to the SMA Negeri 2 Tasikmalaya by online easily. Moreover, PSB team could do the new students selection easily by system.
