PENILAIAN GOOD CORPORATE GOVERNANCE DENGAN MODEL PERATINGAN CGCG UGM (Studi Kasus pada KSPPS BMT Bina Ummat Sejahtera)

Koperasi didirikan untuk dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan anggotanya. Peranan koperasi sangat besar dalam meningkatkan kemandirian masyarakat terutama masyarakat bawah. Banyaknya praktik penipuan yang dilakukan oleh koperasi-koperasi di Indonesia serta tidak ada Lembaga Penjamin Simpanan (LPS) Koperasi, menjadikan adanya keresahan di masyarakat. Koperasi perlu menerapkan pengelolaan yang baik untuk mengembalikan kepercayaan masyarakat. Kualitas penerapan corporate governance perlu diukur dan dinilai untuk mengetahui kesesuaian antara aturan yang ada dengan pelaksanaannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai kualitas penerapan governansi pada KSPPS BMT Bina Ummat Sejahtera dengan menggunakan model peratingan Center for Good Corporate Governance UGM (CGCG UGM). Periode penelitian ini adalah tahun 2015. Penelitian ini menggunakan model peratingan CGCG UGM yang terdiri atas 454 pertanyaan berlandaskan empat prinsip yaitu transparansi, pertanggungjelasan, pertanggungjawaban, dan kewajaran. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah pengawas, pengurus, direktur utama, direktur human capital, direktur bisnis, direktur kepatuhan, direktur keuangan, direktur pelatihan, auditor eksternal, anggota koperasi, karyawan, konsumen, masyarakat, dan pemerintah yaitu dinas koperasi dan UKM Kabupaten Rembang. Hasil penelitian penerapan corporate governance berdasarkan model peratingan CGCG UGM pada KSPPS BMT Bina Ummat Sejahtera yaitu A- yang memiliki total nilai 3029,58 dari nilai maksimal 3865 atau 78%. Hasil skor A- berada pada posisi 5 dari 16 ranking yang terdapat pada CGCG UGM yang menunjukkan bahwa penerapan CG pada KSPPS BMT Bina Ummat Sejahtera belum optimal.

Cooperatives are established to improve the welfare of its members. Cooperatives hold a major role in improving society's self-reliance especially among the grassroots. There have been so many fraudulent practices conducted by some cooperatives in Indonesia, and there has been no such thing as a deposit guaranty institution for cooperatives, which causes restlessness no the people. Cooperatives need to apply good corporate governance to restore public confidence. The quality of governance application needs to be measured and rated to determine the suitability between the existing regulation and its implementation. This research aims to assess the quality of governance application at KSPPS BMT Bina Ummat Sejahtera by using Center for Good Corporate Governance UGM's (CGCG UGM's) rating model. The period of this study is 2015. This research uses CGCG UGM rating which consists of 454 questions based on four principles namely, transparency, accountability, responsibility, and fairness. The respondents in this research are the Supervisors, the Board of Administrators, the Managing Director, the Director of Human Capital, the Business Director, the Director of Compliance, the Director of Finance, the Director of Training, the External Auditor, Cooperative Members, the employees, the consumers, the society, and the Government, in this case, the Cooperatives and SMEs Office, Rembang. The results of the corporate governance implementation at KSPPS BMT Bina Ummat Sejahtera based on CGCG UGM rating is A- with a total score of 3029,58 out of the maximum score of 3865 or 78%. The A- score result rank 5 out of 16 in the rating by CGCG UGM, which shows that of good governance implementation at KSPPS BMT Bina Ummat Sejahtera is not yet optimal.
