Pengembangan Media E-Learning Guna Mendukung Proses Belajar Mengajar di Fakultas Kesehatan Masyarakat Universitas Muhammadiyah Aceh

Latar Belakang : Teknologi informasi memang tidak dapat dipungkiri bahwa telah memberikan sumbangsih yang sangat besar dalam kemajuan dan peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di negara ini. Pengembangan pendidikan menuju e-learning merupakan suatu keharusan agar standar mutu pendidikan dapat ditingkatkan, karena e-learning merupakan suatu penggunaan teknologi digital yang dapat menyampaikan suatu informasi pembelajaran dalam jangkauan luas. Ketersediaan hardware, software dan juga sarana pendukung lainnya seperti jaringan internet di Fakultas Kesehatan Masyarakat Universitas Muhammadiyah Aceh dapat digunakan semaksimal mungkin agar terjadinya transformasi pendidikan dari sitem pembelajaran konvensional ke sistem pembelajaran digital dengan menggunakan e-learning yang berbasis teknologi informasi. Metode Penelitian : Rancangan penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dan kualitatif dengan pendekatan action research. Subyek dalam penelitian ini ditentukan secara purposive sampling dengan jumlah 33 orang yang terdiri dari unsur pimpinan, dosen dan juga mahasiswa. Instrument penelitian meliputi : pedoman wawancara mendalam (indept interview), pedoman observasi, pedoman brainstorming, kuesioner, catatan dilapangan serta perangkat lainnya sesuai dengan perkembangan jalannya penelitian. Hasil dan Pembahasan : Telah dikembangkan sistem pembelajaran digital dengan menggunakan platform DOKEOS yang beralamat di http://e-learning.fkmunmuha.com. Dari aspek teknologi telah mendukung karena telah adanya hardware dan juga software. Keseluruhan responden telah menggunakan sistem e-learning dan tidak ada hambatan yang berarti. Hasil evaluasi mengenai tingkat kemudahan rata-rata mencapai nilai 4,25 dengan rentang 4,18 sampai dengan 4,36, kesediaan pemanfaatan rata-rata mencapai nilai 3,89 dengan rentang 2,29 sampai dengan 4,75 dan juga kesediaan dukungan rata-rata mencapai nilai 4,83 dengan rentang antara 4,39 sampai dengan 5,0. Dengan demikian dapat dilihat bahwa keseluruhannya memiliki nilai median diatas angka = 3 yang artinya responden merasakan suatu kepuasan dimana tingginya kesesuaian yang dirasakan dengan yang diharapkan. Saran : Diharapkan agar sistem pembelajaran e-learning ini dapat lanjutkan dan memasukan sistem ini dalam renstra. Bagi dosen diharapkan agar sistem pembelajaran digital ini terus digalakkan pada seluruh mata kuliah sehingga akan melatih keterampilan anak didik dalam menguasai teknologi informasi.

Background: Information technology can not be denied that it has been proved to be very large in progress and improved quality of education in this country. The development towards e-learning education is a necessity for quality standards of education can be improved, because the e-learning is a digital technology that can deliver a wide range of information, lessons. The availability of hardware, software and other supporting facilities such as the internet network can be used as much as possible for the transformation of education from conventional learning system into a digital learning system by using e-learning based on information technology. The purpose of this study to determine the satisfaction of the users in the development of learning systems by using e-learning in the Faculty of Public Health University of Muhammadiyah Aceh. Methods: The design of this study was kuantitatif and qualitative research with action research approach. The subjects in this study are determined by purposive sampling with total 33 people consisting of elements of the leadership, faculty and students as well. Research conducted at the Faculty of Public Health University of Muhammadiyah Aceh. Instrument of research include: guidelines for in-depth interviews (indept interviews), observation guidelines, guidelines for brainstorming, digital cameras, questionnaires, field notes and other devices in accordance with the development course of study. Results and Discussion: It has developed a digital learning system using DOKEOS in order to expedite the process of learning and teaching which is located at http://e-learning.fkmunmuha.com. From the aspect of technology has support for the hardware and also software, although there are still some shortcomings in some parts, such as slow internet access. Overall respondents had used e-learning system and no significant barriers in using DOKEOS platform. The evaluation results about the average level of ease of reaching the value of 4.25 with a range from 4.18 to 4.36, the willingness of the average utilization reaches the value of 3.89 with a range from 2.29 to 4.75 and also the willingness to support an average of value of 4.83 with a range between 4.39 to 5.0. Therefore, it can be seen that the overall median value above the number = 3, which means the respondents felt a satisfaction which is felt by the high compliance is expected. Suggestion: It is expected for a learning system using the media e-learning can go ahead and put this system in the strategic plan and formed a special team that will manage for development more effective. For lecturers expected for digital learning system continues to be encouraged in all courses that will train their students in mastering the skills of information technology. For students expected to use learning systems e-learning in a healthy manner in order to get the lecture material as well as online communication media within the same academic community of the Faculty of Public Health University of Muhammadiyah Aceh. For other researchers to use the Free Open Source Software platform other than DOKEOS platform.
