SUPORTER DAN PILKADA: Perilaku Pemilih Suporter Slemania Pada Pilkada Kabupaten Sleman Tahun 2015

Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perilaku pemilih anak muda dalam pilkada, khususnya suporter sepakbola yang dikenal sebagai Slemania pada Pilkada Kabupaten Sleman Tahun 2015. Kedua, adalah ingin mengetahui bagaimana pilihan politik anak muda ini terbentuk dan faktor apa yang mempengaruhi pilihan politik tersebut. Perilaku pemilih adalah proses politik yang dilakukan oleh pemilih dalam menentukan keputusan politik yang diambil. Untuk mengungkap perilaku memilih anak muda dalam memutuskan pilihan politik di pilkada, maka rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah: Bagaimana pengaruh Organisasi Suporter Dan Identifikasi Kandidat Terhadap Perilaku Pemilih Anak Muda Anggota Suporter Slemania Pada Pilkada Kab. Sleman Tahun 2015? Terdapat dua aspek yang digunakan untuk melihat perilaku pemilih anak muda yakni : (1) Peran organisasi suporter terhadap pilihan politik; (2) Identifikasi kandidat terhadap pilihan politik. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif, dengan mengunakan metode survei. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner dan yang diberikan kepada anak muda suporter yang berasal dari suporter Slemania. Penelitian dilakukan pada kelompok suporter sepakbola PSS Sleman, kelompok ini dipilih berdasarkan pertimbangnya, bahwa: (1) Kelompok ini merupakan salah satu kelompok terbesar di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. (2) Kelompok suporter tersebut memiliki hubungan langsung dengan peristiwa pemilihan kepala daerah serentak di seluruh indonesia. Untuk melihat bagaimana perilaku pemilih anak muda, maka peneliti melakakukan identifikasi sosiologis terhadap dua aspek pengaruh di atas. Penelitian ini menemukan; perilaku pemilih suporter berposisi sebagai pemilih rasional, dengan argumen bahwa suporter mampu minimalisir pengaruh organisasi suporter yang signifikan dalam mempengaruhi pilihan politik, para suporter memilih karena dengan pertimbangan personal, walaupun ada usaha untuk mempengaruhi melalui elit suporter, rekan suporter, dan individual, secara subtansi suporter dapat membatasi pengaruh tersebut. Kedua, walau ada pengaruh kandidat yang kuat terhadap pilihan politik suporter, suporter berusaha mencoba mendalami kandidat sebelum memutuskan pilihan politik. dengan demikian, keputusan politik berada dominan pada diri suporter. Ini menandakan bahwa adanya kemandirian memilih para suporter yang mengedepankan rasionalitasnya.

This research aims to determine the voting behavior of young people in the elections, especially football supporter, known as Slemania in Sleman District Election Year 2015. Second, to reveal how the political choice of the young man is formed and what factors influence the political choice. Voter behavior is a political process carried out by the voters in determining political decision. To reveal the voting behavior of young people in deciding political choice in the election, the research questions are How does the Supporters organization and Candidates Identity affects Youth Voter Behavior of Slemania members In Sleman District Election 2015? There are two aspects that are used to see the voting behavior of young people, namely The role of the organization supporter towards political choice and Identification of candidates towards a political choice. This research useda quantitative with a survey method. Data collection used questionnaires and were given to young fans who came from Slemania supporters. The study was conducted on a PSS Sleman football supporters group, the group has been choosed based on: This supporters is one of the largest supporters in Yogyakarta. The supporters group have a direct relationship with the events of local elections simultaneously throughout Indonesia. To see how the voting behavior of young people, the researcher did a sociological identification towards two aspects of the influences. The result showed that voter behavior supporter plays as a rational voters, with the argument that the fans were able to minimize the influence of the supporter organization significantly in influencing political choice, the supporters chose for the personal consideration, although there are attempts to influence through the elite supporters, supporters colleague, and individual, in substance supporters can limit the influence. Second, although there is a strong influence on the selection of candidates of political supporters, all supporters try to understand political candidates before making a choice. Thus, political decisions are predominantly derived from self-supporters. This indicates that supporters independently choose based on their rationality.
