SIKAP PETERNAK SAPI PERAH ANGGOTA KOPERASI PETERNAKAN SARONO MAKMUR DI KECAMATAN CANGKRINGAN SLEMAN TERHADAP PORTABLE MILKING MACHINE

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sikap peternak sapi perah terhadap Portable Milking Machine dan mengetahui pengaruh faktor karakteristik peternak terhadap sikap tentang Portable Milking Machine. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kecamatan Cangkringan, Kabupaten Sleman. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 63 peternak sapi perah anggota koperasi. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan wawancara langsung dibantu kuesioner yang sudah valid dan reliabel. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 92,06% responden bersikap positif (favourable) terhadap Portable Milking Machine, sedang 7,94% responden bersikap negatif (unfavourable). Persentase sikap tersebut berasal dari persentase variabel kognitif dengan kategori tinggi sebesar 98,41% dan kategori rendah sebesar 1,59%, lalu berasal dari persentase variabel afektif dengan kategori positif sebesar 80,95% dan kategori negatif sebesar 19,05%, serta berasal dari variabel konatif dengan kategori tertarik sebesar 68,25% dan kategori tidak tertarik sebesar 31,75%. Hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa variabel independen yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap sikap peternak yaitu jumlah kepemilikan ternak (P<0,01). Persamaan regresi Y = 103,541 + 4,380 X4. Kesimpulan dari penilitian ini adalah sebagian besar peternak responden bersikap positif terhadap Portable Milking Machine, dan faktor karakteristik peternak yang berpengaruh terhadap sikap tentang Portable Milking Machine adalah jumlah kepemilikan ternak (X4), sehingga semakin banyak jumlah kepemilikan ternak semakin bersikap positif terhadap Portable Milking Machine

This research was conducted to determine the attitude of dairy farmers towards Portable Milking Machine and determine the influence of the factors characteristics of dairy farmers on the attitudes towards the Portable Milking Machine. This research was conducted in Cangkringan Sleman Districts. The number of respondents in this research were 63 dairy farmers cooperative members. The samples used were taken by purposive sampling method. The data were collected by interviews. Analysis of data using multiple linear regression. The result of the research showed that 92.06% respondents had positive attitude, while 7.94% respondents had negative attitude. The percentage of attitude comes from a percentage of cognitive variables with high category 98.41% and category low 1.59%, and comes from a percentage of affective variables with positive category 80.95% and category negative 19.05%, as well as comes from a percentage of conative variables with interested category 68.25% and category not interested 31.75%. This research also showed that the independent variables significantly towards attitude of dairy farmers about Portable Milking Machine was the amount of livestock ownership (P<0.01). The regression equation Y = 103.541 + 4.380 X4. The conclusion of this research were most of dairy farmers respondents had attitude positive towards Portable Milking Machine and factor characteristics of dairy farmers that influence attitudes about Portable Milking Machine were the number of livestock ownership (X4), so that more much the number of livestock ownership increasingly positive attitudes towards Portable Milking Machine.
