HUBUNGAN ANTARA RERATA GRADIEN TEKANAN KATUP MITRAL (MVmeanPG) DENGAN KADAR N-TERMINAL PROHORMONE OF BRAIN NATRIURETIC PEPTIDE (NT-proBNP) PADA PASIEN STENOSIS MITRAL

stenosis mitral merupakan keadaan obstruksi katup jantung yang paling sering terjadi akibat demam rematik dan seringkali ditemui di negara berkembang. Dengan adanya gradien tekanan di jantung, darah dapat dialirkan inter-ruang jantung. Gradien tekanan katup mitral (MVmeanPG) pada stenosis mitral meningkat seiring dengan penyempitan MVA. Peningkatan MVmeanPG menyebabkan jantung bekerja keras, akibat penurunan preload, dalam upaya mempertahankan kardiak output. Peningkatan tekanan serta regangan dinding ruang jantung yang terjadi menyebabkan pelepasan neurohomonal NT-proBNP ke sirkulasi. Penelitian terkait NT-proBNP masih terbatas walaupun perannya terbukti sebagai biomarker sindrom gagal jantung. Penelitian ini melakukan studi analitik kuantitatif tentang hubungan antara MVmeanPG (mmHg) dengan NT-proBNP (pg/ml).

mitral stenosis is the most common valvular heart obstruction in developing country and was largely caused by rheumatic fever. The presence of pressure gradient in the heart enables the blood to be passed through each heart chamber. The pressure gradient on mitral valve (MVmeanPG) in mitral stenosis increases same as well as the narrowing of MVA. The increasing of MVmeanPG causes the heart to work harder, it's because of a low preload, in order to maintain cardiac output. On the other side increased pressure and strecth of heart wall causes the release of neurohormonal such as NT-proBNP to the circulation. Researches regarding NT-proBNP is limited although its role had been evidenced as heart failure syndrome biomarker. This research is conducted using quantitative analytic study to determine the relation between MVmeanPG (mmHg) and NT-proBNP (pg/ml).
