PERSEBARAN EDELWEIS (Anaphalis spp.) DI SEPANJANG JALUR PENDAKIAN CANDI CETHO GUNUNG LAWU

Edelweis (Anapahlis spp), merupakan tumbuhan eksotik dan endemik khas daerah alpina atau montana. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena masih terbatasnya informasi mengenai jenis dan persebaran edelweis di Jalur Pendakian Candi Cetho Gunung Lawu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis dan pola persebaran edelweis di sepanjang Jalur Pendakian Candi Cetho Gunung Lawu. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dengan metode inventarisasi kelas perdu. Transek dibuat tegak lurus dengan jalur pendakian. Pada setiap transek dibuat enam buah Petak Ukur (PU), yaitu tiga di sebelah kanan jalur dan tiga di sebelah kiri jalur dengan jarak 10 m dari jalur pendakian dan antar PU. Transek diulangi setiap jarak 200 m. Ukuran PU yang digunakan (2m x 2m) untuk kelas perdu A dan (5m x 5m) untuk kelas perdu B. Selanjutnya data dianalisis menggunakan metode nilai ID (Index of Dispersion). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, awal ditemukannya edelweis pada ketinggian 2.473 m dpl. Edelweis yang ditemukan di Gunung Lawu adalah Anaphalis javanica dengan ciri warna daun permukaan atas putih, permukaan bawah putih memudar dan A. longifolia mempunyai ciri warna daun permukaan atas hijau pudar, permukaan bawah putih pudar. Pola persebaran Anaphalis spp. adalah mengelompok baik Kelas Perdu A maupun Kelas Perdu B.

Edelweiss (Anaphalis spp.) is an exotic and endemic plants typical of the alpina or montana area. Until now, it has been limited information on the type and distribution of edelweiss around Candi Cetho Mountaineering Trail, Mount Lawu. The research was aimed at determining the type and distribution of edelweis (Anaphalis spp.) around Candi Cetho Mountaineering Trail, Mount Lawu. The research data was obtained by the method of the class inventory shrubs. Transects were made perpendicular to the hiking track. On each transect made six sample quadrat, three on the right track and three in the left lane at a distance of 10 meters from hiking track and each quadrat. Transect repeated every distance of 200 meters. The quadrat size used 2 m x 2 m for shrubs class A and 5 m x 5 m for shrubs class B. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using the ID value (Index of Dispersion). The result shows that the first discovered of edelweiss on altitude of 2,473 meters above sea level. The kind of edelweiss that found on Mount Lawu was Anaphalis javanica with the characteristic of leaves was white on surface, and underside of leaves was fade, however A. longifolia has a faded green on surface, and white fade on the lower surface. The distribution pattern of Anaphalis spp. was clumped by Shurbs Class A and Shurbs Class B
