PENGARUH PEMBERIAN TABLET Fe DAN MADU TERHADAP PENINGKATAN KADAR HEMOGLOBIN REMAJA PUTRI DI SMP NEGERI 5 SUKOHARJO

Anemia merupakan keadaan dimana masa hemoglobin yang beredar tidak memenuhi fungsinya untuk menyediakan oksigen bagi jaringan tubuh Faktor penyebab anemia adalah penyakit (malaria, TBC, dan kecacingan), menstruasi, aktivitas fisik yang berat, usia, dll. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian tablet Fe dan madu terhadap peningkatan kadar hemoglobin pada remaja putri. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan eksperiment yaitu Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT). Populasi pada penelitian adalah siswi kelas IX SMP Negeri 5 Sukoharjo. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik simple random sampling didapatkan sampel sebanyak 80 siswi yang mengalami anemia. Analisis data menggunakan paired sample t test dan independent sample t test. Hasil penelitian menunjukan nilai rerata kadar hemoglobin siswi yang diberikan tablet Fe dan madu mengalami peningkatan dengan nilai pretest 10,25 gr/dL, postest 11,56 gr/dL dan selisih posttest-pretest yaitu 1,31 gr/dL. Sedangkan nilai rerata kadar hemoglobin siswi yang diberikan tablet Fe mengalami peningkatan dengan nilai pretest 10,17 gr/dL, posttest 10,93 gr/dL dan selisih posttest-pretest 0,75 gr/dL. Selisih rata-rata peningkatan kadar hemoglobin antara terapi tablet Fe dan madu dengan terapi tablet Fe sebesar 0,55 (P-value =0,000). Terapi tablet Fe dan madu berpengaruh pada peningkatan hemoglobin.

Anemia is a condition when the hemoglobin circulating does not fulfill its function to provide oxygen to the body tissues. Factors that can cause anemia are diseases (malaria, tuberculosis, and intestinal worms), menstruation, strenuous physical activity, age, etc. This study is aimed to determine the effect of Fe tablet and honey to increase hemoglobin levels in adolescent girls. The design of this study use experimental is Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT). The population of this study were female students of class IX SMP Negeri 5 Sukoharjo. Technique Sampling was done by simple random sampling technique, obtained 80 female students who were anemic. Data analysis used paired sample t test and independent sample t test. The results of this study showed mean value of hemoglobin level students that was given Fe tablet and honey increased with pretest value 10.25 g/dL, posttest value 11.56 g/dL and pretest-posttest difference was 1.31 g /dL. While mean value of students hemoglobin level that were given the iron tablet increased with pretest value 10.17 g/dL, posttest value 10.93 g/dL and pretest-posttest difference was 0.75 g / dL. Difference of hemoglobin levels increase mean between Fe tablet and honey treatment with Fe tablet treatment was 0.55 (P-value = 0.000). Fe tablet and honey treatment affect to increase the hemoglobin levels.
