ANALISIS STRUKTUR NARATIF DAN KARAKTERISASI NOVEL KATRESNAN KARYA SOERATMAN SASTRADIHARDJA

Novel Katresnan merupakan salah satu karya sastra yang berbentuk narasi prosa karya dari Soeratman Sastradihardja. Narasi prosa termasuk dalam karya sastra Jawa modern, disebut dengan sastra Jawa modern karena merupakan hasil dari rangsangan kreatif pengarang. Novel Katresnan mengisahkan tentang Mursiati yang bertekad kuat untuk memperjuangkan semua impiannya, walaupun orang tuanya selalu menghalangi semua keinginannya. Dalam perjalanan Mursiati yang sebagai tokoh utama menyebabkan munculnya peristiwa-peristiwa lain, dan munculnya tokoh-tokoh lain di dalam cerita. Penelitian ini difokuskan untuk mendeskripsikan unsur-unsur naratif dan karakter dari tokoh-tokoh yang terdapat di dalam novel Katresnan. Untuk mengumpulkan data yang diperlukan menggunakan pendekatan objektif, kemudian dilanjutkan metode kualitatif dan teori struktural naratif dari Seymour Chatman, untuk menemukan dan mendekskripsikan unsur-unsur naratif, yang terdiri dari, kernel, satelit, urutan, durasi, frekuensi dan karakter dari tokoh-tokoh. Hasil dari penelitian ini ditemukan adanya 27 kernel dan 133 satelit. Berdasarkan urutan logis diketahui bahwa ada urutan yang tidak berurutan, sedangkan urutan kronologis mempunyai susunan yang sama. Dari anakroninya di dalam Novel Katresnan terdapat 3 analepsis dan 2 prolepsis. Durasi secara keseluruhan terdapat 169, dengan jumlah secara berurutan dari yang terbanyak adalah ringkasan 61, lanturan 48, adegan 37, elipsis 14, dan pause 9. Frekuensi mempunyai jumlah keseluruhan 222, dengan jumlah secara berurutan dari yang terbanyak adalah, multiple singular 114, singular 85, iteratif 17, dan repetitif 6. Karakterisasi menghasilkan flat character yang terdiri dari tokoh Mursiati, tokoh Sutrisna, tokoh Ibu Sutrisna, tokoh Sundari, tokoh Guru, tokoh Asisten Wadana, dan tokoh tiga perampok, sedangkan untuk round character terdiri dari tokoh Ayah Mursiati dan tokoh Ibu Mursiati.

Katresnan novel is one of the literary works of narrative prose Soeratman Sastradihardja. Narrative prose is included in modern Javanese literature, called the modern Javanese literature because it is the result of a creative stimulus author. The Katresnan novel tells the story of the Mursiati resolve for struggle to achieve all his dreams, even though his parents always blocks all his wishes. In the course of Mursiati who the main character lead to the emergence of other events and the emergence of other characters in the story. The study was focused to describe the narrative elements and character of the figures in Katresnan novel. To collect the necessary data using an objective approach, then continued qualitative methods and narrative structural theory of Seymour Chatman, to find and describe the narrative elements, was consists of a kernel, satellite, order, duration, frequency, and character of the figures. The result showed that there were 27 kernels and 133 satellites. Based on the logical order, there were orders that were not consecutive, while the chronological order of the same structure. Anachrony of in Katresnan novel there were 3 analepses and 2 prolepses. The overall durations was 169, with the largest sequence number was 61 summary, 48 stretch, 37 scenes, 14 ellipsis, and 9 pause. The total number of frequency was 222, with the largest number in sequence, 114 multiple singulary, 85 singulary, 17 iterative, and 6 repetitive. Characterization produced flat character consists of Mursiati figures, Sutrisna figures, Sutrisna’s mother figures, Sundari figures, the Teacher figures, Assistant Wadana figures, and the figures of three robbers, while for the round character was consists of Mursiati’s father figures and Mursiati’s mother figures.
