INTISARI Kampus Diploma Teknik Sipil Sekolah Vokasi Universitas Gadjah Mada Terletak di Jalan Yacaranda Sekip Unit IV, Catur Tunggal, Depok, Sleman, Yogyakarta. Dengan semakin bertambahnya jumlah mahasiswa, dosen dan karyawan membuat kebutuhan akan parkir kian meningkat. Semakin tingginya permintaan akan parkir tentu saja akan berakibat dengan ruang parkir yang ada. Oleh karena itu tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisa karakteristik parkir dan kebutuhan ruang parkir. Data primer yang didapat meliputi data plat nomor kendaraan yang parkir. Kemudian dilakukan analisa mengenai karakteristik parkir sehingga didapat kebutuhan parkir. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh karakteristik parkir sepada motor yaitu akumulasi parkir tertinggi terdapat di hari Selasa sebesar 190 kendaraan, durasi parkir tertinggi sebesar 193,03 menit pada hari Selasa. Kapasitas parkir harian tertinggi terjadi pada hari Rabu sebesar 993 kendaraan/jam dan rata-rata sebesar 881 kendaraan/jam. Indeks parkir yang didapat sebesar 64% pada hari Selasa. Berdasarkan indeks parkir maka diketahui area parkir Departemen Teknik Sipil Sekolah Vokasi Universitas Gadjah Mada masih dapat memenuhi kebutuhan parkir karena indeks parkir yang didapat < 100%.

ABSTRACT Campus Diploma Teknik Sipil Sekolah Vokasi Universitas Gadjah mada located in Jalan Yacaranda Sekip Unit IV, Catur Tunggal, Depok, Sleman, Yogyakarta. With the increasing number of students, lecturer and staff make increasing of parking supply. The increasing demand for parking will impact on existing parking space. The objective of this research are to analyze parking characteristics, parking lot requirements. Primary data collected include parking vehicle plate number counting. The objective of this research are to analyze parking characteristic then the result is parking supply. Based on the result obtained by analyze of the characteristic of the accumulation of motor cycle showed that the highest motor cycle parking lot for 190 vehicles on Tuesday. Average parking duration 193,03 veh/minutes on Tuesday. The highest daily parking capacity on Wednesday its about 993 vehicle/hours and the average for four days 881 veh/hours. Parking index gained 64 % on Tuesday. Based on the parking index its known parking area Diploma Teknik Sipil Sekolah Vokasi Universitas Gadjah Mada still can accommodate the needs of parking because parking index gained < 100 %.
