KOMPOSISI JENIS TINGKAT TIANG DAN POHON PEKARANGAN DI DESA BANYUBIRU, KECAMATAN WIDODAREN, KABUPATEN NGAWI

Komposisi jenis pada pekarangan/hutan tanaman merupakan komposisi yang disengaja, artinya jenis-jenis yang ditanam dipekarangan/hutan tanaman merupakan jenis-jenis yang terpilih, sesuai keinginan pemilik/pengelolanya (sesuai kelas perusahaan). Akibat pemilihan jenis ini maka akan terjadi kekhasan jenis yaitu cenderung pada jenis-jenis yang bermanfaat dan memiliki nilai jual tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui komposisi jenis penyusun pekarangan mulai dari tingkat pohon sampai tingkat tiang. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Desember 2016 di Desa Banyubiru, Kecamatan Widodaren, Kabupaten Ngawi. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan metode purposive sampling dengan membuat petak ukur nested sampling secara acak dengan ukuran 20 m x 20 m untuk tingkat pohon dan 10 m x 10 m untuk tingkat tiang dan mencatat jenis, jumlah, diameter, dan tinggi. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menghitung nilai kerapatan, frekuensi, dominansi dan indeks nilai penting (INP) suatu jenis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai indeks nilai penting (INP) komposisi jenis tingkat pohon pekarangan di Desa Banyubiru yang tertinggi yaitu jenis tanaman jati (Tectona Grandis) dengan INP sebesar 58,34 %, sedangkan nilai terendah adalah jenis lamtoro (Leucaena leucocephala) dengan INP sebesar 8,33 %. Untuk tingkat tiang nilai INP tertinggi jenis jati (Tectona Grandis) sebesar 99,43 %, dan nilai terendah adalah jenis rambutan ( Niphelium lappaceum) dengan nilai INP sebesar 11,19. Dari hasil yang diperoleh dapat dikatakan jumlah terbanyak yang ditemui yaitu jenis jati (Tectona grandis).

The composition type of yard / forest plantations is a delibrate composition, it menas that the type of plantations in the yard/ forest plantations are those kind were selected, as the owner / manager want (according to company grade). For the consequence of this selection, it would be a special charecteristic of which tend to the kind of useful and have a high selling value. The purpose of this research is to know the composition kind of yard structure ranging from tree to the level of pillar. This research was conducted in December, 2016 in Banyubiru village, Widodaren Subdistrict, Ngawi. Data were collected by purposive sampling method by creating nested sampling measurement swath randomly with a size of 20 m x 20 m for tree level and 10 m x 10 m for the pole level and make a note of type, amount, diameter, dan high. The data processing is made by calculating the density, frequency, domination and important value index (IVI) of a type. The result showed that the important values index (IVI) the composition of the different types of tree level yard in the Banyubiru village the highest is teak (Tectona Grandis) with IVI of 58.34 %, while the lowest value is the type of Leucaena (Leucaena leucocephala) with IVI of 8.33 %. To the highest type of IVI is teak (Tectona Grandis) with 99.43 %, and the lowest value is rambutan (Niphelium lappaceum) with IVI 11.19 %. From the results obtained can be said that the majority plant is teak (Tectona grandis).
